It doesn't weird Me out that you talk to your fans nor that fans "sweet talk" (or hope that you are ok from your injury or show basic support to your career) you, Erica. I, for one, am happy about being able to post to and maybe get a reply back from an OCSM ...and to one that has posted pix here!
This thread has tons of pix, and so did the first thread....thats why this the second thread...so a few posts back and forth between you and Us really shouldn't get your real fans into a hissy fit about pic-links.

Erica, I too am glad that you pop in from time to time to interact with your fans. I think it's great that you like talking to fans. I hope the time until you get your cast off passes quickly for you.

Im not going to start a debate on what makes a real fan or the pros and cons of her presence on this board, but 14 messages in a row all saying the same thing is a bit much for me. Last time I posted in a string that length in a thread i got flamed because it shouldve went in PM or in the talk thread. Hence why thanks to "Comanduc"'s recomendation I'll start the thread for links only, I used to pride myself on being a fan of erica, massive collection of pics, near every publication she appeared in and for a time a member of her site. Sadly this thread and the repetition of the same links, time and time again as well as watching every member try and out do each other with the flattery has soured me from both her and trying to post links which are in extreme short supply.
Hence why no doubt so many of you will be pleased I wont post in this thread again, in the absence of new sets I've had the luck of stumbling onto several other models I feel surpass Erica, never thought Id admit it, but there it is in black and white.
So gentleman, have your cake and eat it.

I dont think any minds a nice gesture of well being towards the object of this thread. And I dint think anyone minds the response of said object.
I personally dislike the constant kowtowing in consecutive posts. I think we all wish her well with her cast/leg/health. I think it can go without saying that we hope the best for her health. But for consecutive posts and pages thereafter of direct personal remarks and gestures, is that not what the PM is for?

The board has worked and grown just fine the way it is. The links are easily visible in bold/alternate color, so I don't see how the 1/10th of a second or less that it takes your eyes to find any links on a page is so difficult.

Fans want to post a message to their stars, and the stars want to post back to the fans. It's incredibly simple. If there are ERC threads all over the place, for example, then who's to say where what goes and what thread can contain a thanks or a question? I'll answer that: I'll say where.

Asking questions to ERC or any star member in a thread is the purpose of the board and having our OSCMs around. Sure, there are questions that are better left unasked or "conversations" that should be taken to PM, and we try to help guide those members in the right direction.

This is not a matter to argue. I've already dealt with someone in a (former) position of authority who tried to say that members can only post links in a FYFB thread.

Now back to Erica, please.... links and conversation regarding her. :thumbsup:

I certainly would like to support Erica and wish her the best. It's a difficult situation she's in now, so I hope everyone keeps in mind her feelings. Asking for pictures of her in a cast might not be entirely appropriate and I ask posters to be considerate. That said, I hope we get to see a lot more good stuff from her soon, be that pictures or comments. A picture might be worth a thousand words, but a few words from her fill my head with dozens of pictures :D

:wave2: Goodbye, don't feel sad if your not missed by anybody. I hope all the other people that have and will come in here and complain about the silliest things will also take your lead and follow the route you went. I find the incessant complaining about trivial things a thousand times more irritating then people constantly praising Erica or even repeat links for that matter. I know how painful and stressful it must be to push a button and move your wrist holding the mouse past all the post you don't want to read. That must take a whole ten seconds of your time.
