The other reason was because ESPN lost their deal with the NHL series and EA has exclusive rights to NHL. I'm not looking for perfection, but seriously.... fix some important problems.

I don't know what ESPN has to do with it, they never had a hand in any of the games as far as I know. They did lose the broadcasting rights to NBC. As far as I know, 2K games still has license to make NHL games, they just don't because EA was ******* them in sales.

espn license HAD nothing to do with it. the 2K hockey games stunk,i guess when EA came out with using the right stick as "your hockey stick" the other company needed to counter that with a design of their own and just can't match that. are they allowed to "copy" that design and use the right stick as "your stick" on 2K hockey games or does EA have that patented?
i wish 2K was able to make football games again,i still own 2K5 football for ps2 i have owned madden games but i **** them and i never really play them,i buy them every few years with the plan of giving them a shot and learning the controls but i **** their graphics,i wish they would lose the exclusive rights to make games and 2K could make them again. is 2K even a company still? the exclusive rights to the NFL by EA is through 2013 which is right around the corner, HOPING???....................

Yup, the H-C mechanics were way fucked up when the game launched (it was new, and they've since sorted it out). The guy bent over and hit me pretty square, but instead of flipping over his back, he stood up when I was right on top of him, sending me about 10 feet straight up. My friends and I had to pause the match and watch it 10 or 12 times because we couldn't stop laughing. I might have the clip saved somewhere.

It might be under your saved replays if you never cleared it out or deleted it.

Demo is out NOW on 360 and tomorrow on PS3. Haven't tried it yet, but it's downloading.

I liked it a lot. The new skating is much more physically realistic, and they worked on balancing out the poke-check and stick-lift. Pretty sure they have some new type of engine for the player faces as well, because they look 10x better.

well i was gonna but after 5 minutes the PS3 download was still at 0%! should it really take a long time to download? i may set it to run while at work today. and i looked everywhere on 360 and didn't see the demo listed (unless i am blind) but i haven't gotten this demo yet ! :hairpull:

i dunno? i tried it like 5 times last night and it never moved from 0% then this morning i tried and it was like 15 minutes and it was already up to like 75%

The new dashboard can be a bit of a pain in the ass. I think you want to go to the Games Tab>Game Marketplace>Demos Tab>Latest Releases. It should be one of the first 4 or 5.

i contacted XBOX live customer service-through a chat session,she told me there is nothing wrong with the demo but it's for GOLD members only! i didn't see that but if it is why even release a demo? and why only for GOLD members? i have to check again this afternoon when i **** up. but if it is for GOLD they can go FUCK THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!
