i contacted XBOX live customer service-through a chat session,she told me there is nothing wrong with the demo but it's for GOLD members only! i didn't see that but if it is why even release a demo? and why only for GOLD members? i have to check again this afternoon when i **** up. but if it is for GOLD they can go FUCK THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!

the problem i have with that is that i can only see the cover of the game when i click on that i get the error message so i can't even see that if it is gold or not.

i bought a 3 month gold membership to get the demo. i got it on the PS3 but i don't play NHL on the PS3 i am used to the XBOX controls so i can never switch from that. i am going to try it today.

Game's out now! Anyone pick it up yet? Normally I would be playing it right now, not wasting my time here, but I won't be getting it til I pick up my new 360 on Thursday or Friday.

for some wacky reason i pre-ordered the regular version- and had to search around all day yesterday to find the SE Stanley cup limited edition one. finally found it at a best buy where it wasn't pre-ordered. every place i went to (gamestop) only gets the amount of limited ones that are pre-ordered.. no more,if 2 limited were ordered they only get 2 shipped, than 2 different best buys also had it but both were for someone who pre-ordered, i finally found a best buy that had 4 and none were pre-ordered. so likely later today or tomorrow i will play. I had to have that STANLEY CUP one!

Picked it up last night. Pretty awesome, but the drop-ins are gonna be chippy as all fuck until people manage to level up their pros.
