dungeons and dragons (D&D) anyone?
Yea. My Favorite character was a Diviner (A type of wizard who uses fortune telling and remote viewing) who was a money grubbing bastard. Who's goal was to become a lich (Think Zombie Wizard) made of solid gold. And to take over hell.
He was not even evil, he was CN. The thing is, he didn't like evil. He hated tyrrany and slaughter. He just wanted power and wealth.
I also played a Paladin (Holy Knight) named Nathan Stonewall who was an ex junkie that was saved by the Church who's goal was to save those that fell between the cracks and destroy **** cartels. As well as a paladin named Kyle Rosecraft who was in love with a woman, but was arranged to marry a prince. So he felt he had to prove his worth by bringing order to a chaotic world.
Kyle died ******* that world's Satan.

The funnest RP stuff comes from things that happen in game. Like Ivllios, my Elf Diviner, found a statue of a god that made him look like his alignment, so he was going to get one for each God.
And my current priest took a crossbow bolt to the head that almost ****** him. He's healed now, but I play like he still has metal chips in his brain and has psychotic episodes sometimes.

Can always use screenshots to verify the role. Or pick up copies of Fantasy Grounds which is a virtual table top. I used it for years before I managed to get myself 2 games to play and 1 to run.
Savage Worlds is the system. It has 1 corebook for the whopping price of $9.99 and it's fairly small unlike other books. All your stats are based off dice (for example, my character has a d8 strength, d4 spirt, d6 vigor, etc) and there aren't many modifiers. Having a +2 in something is huge...
The other half of the game is the setting book. There are dozens upon dozens of settings now. My favorite is called Necessary Evil and it's usually ran as a very slap stick, marval super villain game.
Other settings are Suzerain, which is a time travel type game; deadlands, wierd wars, evernight (epic fantasy), shaintair (avoid), rippers (victorian age horro), low life (if nothing else, the drawings are awesome), 50 fathoms (pirates), and there's tons and tons more.
It's very rules light and prep is pretty easy as the DM.
In that reguard the system sounds similar to Dragon Strike. But if we can get about 4 people who want we can figure something out and do like a Play by Post here on the fourm for a D&D game. Didn't realize it was that popular on a porn forum.

In the V:TM game I play in, my Tremere has the flaw ****** by staking. So every night she performs a ritual to prevent staking. She didn't have any woodchips so she was going to break down a wooden chair.....and almost staked herself with it.

Board version, me too! I grew up playing with some folks in my hood, and played through HS. It kept me out of trouble most nights, and I enjoyed it a lot. It truly was the ****** of all RPGs.
I have played some of the D&D computer games, only single player stuff though.

Yea. It is the Ebbron setting which I am not fond of. Filled with Micro Transactions, and the like first three missions are sewer levels.

Well, due to a Belgian traffic jam, a hubby with fat fingers that did a typo with my license plate on my ferry reservation, and a French guy with a stick up his ass...we ended up on the 2pm Ferry instead of 12.
So, games will have to wait for London traffic.
Ah well.
And normally I'd say count me in for the play by post game, but I think I'd get yelled at for doing fun things instead of work. :1orglaugh

Accutally I am kinda the healthy type so I eat that stuff all the time anyway (Usually eating carrots, and celery at my games and ******** water and tea).
But be careful, DMs can be the fickle type. If it is your turn to bring snacks, best not be a jerk.
Though we do kinda a pot luck thing. Everyone brings some snacks and we share. Works out well for us.
