Do you work out?

Was wondering if Americans are truely the fatties they make us out to be and due to the stigma that guys get about looking at porn all day and sitting at the computers beating off and eating unhealthy. So do you work out and if so how often?
 
I try to work out daily by doing some abdominal crunches or sit ups....

I visit a gym twice a week for where I work on my abs and where I do some benchpressing....
 
Yep. Push-ups, press-ups, and weights. We had a good thread about this in the past I think:)

I too recently started working out again pretty heavily. I'm not overweight, just uncomfortable with my midsection.

I also started lifting again too for several reasons. One, I just like the way I feel when I lift. Plus, I recently learned that lifting weight helps fight off sarcopenia as we get older. It's better to start in your twenties rather than waiting until your about 40 and it begins to set in.

I do cardio almost every day and lifting 3 to 4 times a week.

I do however need a new workout playlist, so I'll be looking to post that soon.
 
I started back up again too. I use to be really into sports when I was in college but now that I'm older and have a family I have a hard time motivating myself without win's and losses depending on me working out.
I know bettering my health should be a good enough reason but find it difficult to stay motivated. Wondering if anyone else has that problem?

Try using the Nike+ system. It creates a reward based system with running by buying the shoes, an ipod and their sensor. I've used to hold contests with my friends and family and put some sort of wager on the contest.

You can also use it to challenge random people around the world. I haven't used it in a while because I quit running after I injured my kneee for awhile, but maybe I'll pick it up again soon.

^For me, even walking really fast, as much as I can, works. Less reliance on the bloody motor vehicle. :)

I walk too and from work every day, no matter the weather (1.5 miles each way). I also jog at least two more miles per day, 6.6 miles on my days off.
 
I do 6 sets of beer can/bottle lifts every night. :beer:
 
i goto the gym 5 days a week m-f cant stand cardio i just lift weights my problem is i love good food

Why excersise? To much damn effort, besides I like my beer belly. I gave up on getting a "six pack" a long time ago! I deliver furniture so there's my fucking work out! :thefinger

I actually do have a six-pack, it just has a protective cover over it. ;)
