I too recently started working out again pretty heavily. I'm not overweight, just uncomfortable with my midsection.
I also started lifting again too for several reasons. One, I just like the way I feel when I lift. Plus, I recently learned that lifting weight helps fight off sarcopenia as we get older. It's better to start in your twenties rather than waiting until your about 40 and it begins to set in.
I do cardio almost every day and lifting 3 to 4 times a week.
I do however need a new workout playlist, so I'll be looking to post that soon.
