Do you let your girl sunbathe topless?

Me and my buddy were discussing this tonight. I don't think it's as much of a big deal here in Europe as it is in the States, but do you/would you let your other half sunbathe topless when other people are around?

It's not a big deal for me because my girl does porn, so a lot of guys have seen way more than just her tits. But I kind of enjoy showing her off and seeing other guys stare at her safe in the knowledge that she's mine.

My friend was on the opposite end of the scale and says he would never let his girlfriend do it. He thinks I'm crazy, but he wasn't complaining when he came on holiday with us.

Assuming I had a significant other that really wanted to do it, it was legal, and there were no kids around, I probably wouldn't mind if that‘s all there was to it. However, a huge problem with it is all the other trouble it would bring. Not only would it be hard to legally do it most places, but when you calculate in all the gawking, harassment, attention, and a lot of other trouble that can arise from something like that by jerks that want to cause you trouble or bother her, and I don’t mean just by looking or saying something, it's just not remotely worth it. The first time I had to hurt somebody because they wanted to go to far with her or got gropy would be one time too many.

Often it's just much better to avoid trouble in the first place than trying to get rid of it.

But back to the thread topic, yeah I'm talking out in public on a beach or something. In most European countries it's not illegal at all, in fact loads of women sunbathe topless.

my girlfriend does and it doesn't bother me in the least, she's been without clothes before with other people and myself around too, if you can get used to it then it's no big deal but most people probably couldn't...contrary to popular belief the sun does come out here enough for one to sunbathe though she normally uses a tanning bed, either way, no tan lines is way hotter IMO...

Who really cares? Any place that allows you to sunbathe nude and not be illegal is full of people who's culture has desensitized them to tits and ass anyways. Nude beaches in Europe and the Caribbean are the norm, so people don't really think twice about it.

And again- who cares? Its just tits, no big deal. If anyone walks by and stares or whips their dick out, then tell them to fuck off. I go to nude beaches here in Canada and even here its no big deal.

I had hoped that the days when guys "let" their other halves do things were well and truly over. If my wife wishes to bathe topless on the beach I have no right , legal or moral to prevent her.I can let her know of my views on the matter, that's all.I'm not a control freak.

Sunbathing topless is very normal where I live. You see women of all sizes and ages topless at the beach. I never noticed any strange behavior other then the normal "guys checking girls from a distance". I think those guys would also check on my gf if she had her bikini top on, so that's nothing new.

I'm truly ammazed by some of the reactions on this thread: my gf is a person, very well capable of doing her own thinking, and there is no "allowed or disallowed" that I can bring to the discussion. Guess it has something to do with cultural differances.
