by the way, IMO, it was a pretty lame finale for a spectacular series. Not good enough.

Matthew Fox actually cried when he watched it.

It was what it was. You're not going to satisfy everybody. Some folks watched it for the mystery aspects while others watched it for the characters. I thought it was fine.

Yes, I loved it. And the fact that it was the writers original ending conceived in 2004 makes me love it all the more. Only one complaint - NO EKO - they could have brought him back for the last episode somehow.

It was great until the last 10 minutes, then it became nothing more than a Purgatory show...

Lost for me ended after Season 2. All the other seasons weren't up to the brilliant, flawless standard that was Season 1 and 2.

From what I can remember killing Eko came out of left field. They were looking for a ratings boost when the show was down a bit. So he might've had a little animosity about it.

Actually I read it was his idea. He needed to leave the show for personal reasons.

I hated when it happened. He was one of my favorite characters on the show. Mr. Eko was a badass. :thumbsup:

Apparently, the guy playing Mr. Eko wanted way too much money to return, especially since he was only going to be in one scene.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. I certainly was surprised by the ending...which is exactly what I wanted in the first place.
