Yes, man has stepped foot on the moon. NASA used to have some pretty smart mofos, not so sure anymore.

What about the foreign countries that had the technology to track the rockets and launch craft? That would have to be some pretty damn successful conspiracy considering a lot of the other people that would have to be in on it didn't like us back then.
Because it's expensive.
In the 60's we were determined to beat the Russians so money was no object and the public was behind it.
Once we beat them and went back 3 or 4 times and the novelty wore off the government couldn't justify the expense.
Simple economics.
Yes we landed on the moon, but all the footage we have seen is not of the real moon landing because what we really found up their had to be hushed up! Yep we found an evil Nazi Moon Base!! & these astro-nazi's murdered our poor astronauts & we have been fighting a space war with the Lunar Reich, led by the brain of hitler in a robot body, ever since!! :eek:
I watched it happen on TV when I was 11.It was Very exciting.
as some others have said, mythbusters did indeed handle this issue and they debunked a few of the issues people bring up: the picture of the astronaut being well lit while in the lander shadow (thus there being multiple light sources, busted), the flag waving in a vacuum (thus there being wind, busted), the boot print pic being deeply pressed into the moon dust (thus there being moisture, busted) but only the shadow knows the truth
