This isn't an attack on you personally, but it irks me when people think that by charging for access to a site that they are legitimately being scammed or denied simply because they feel entitled to a site's content for free. She may be a TEASE (MAYBE!), but scammer? Come on, it's ridiculous to think that.

If you're so turned off by being "scammed" (translation: I have to pay to see her contents), then scam Ms. Milani and Periscope Media yourself and look up a tor_rent file. Not my suggestion, simply the obvious route to go if you feel entitled to robbing other people of their livelihoods.

You're missing the point. What the author meant by scamming is that the content she offers on her site to members is not worth 25 euros. By objective market and product criteria her site is over-priced and actually worth max. 10 euros per month of membership. At 25 euros or 30 dollars per month You get access to big porn sites with women having real sex or big nude sites with hundreds of great nude models. What do You get for 25 euros on her site ? A pair of hidden presumably fake boobs plus a stupid fake smile on millions of similar pictures. Pretty little, isn't it ?

I think folks should look up the meaning of the word "scam" before they throw it around so loosely. All scams predicate themselves on someone being FOOLED. If you bought a subscription to her site (which I'm presuming you didn't) then you haven't been fooled. She hasn't made claims of having nudity on the site, she hasn't taken your money and run, you weren't charged anything more or less than what was advertised, nor was there any DECEIT. Where there is no deceit, there is no scam. You may feel it's EXPENSIVE, but that is totally independent of a scam, by it's basic definition. "Worth" and "scam" are different words. You probably know this.

I think it's weird that guys are calling it a scam because they feel it's out of range of what they are willing to pay for access. This is like me walking into a BWM dealership with $500 in my pocket and then complaining about how they are scamming everyone by being overpriced. Yeah, it's expensive, but they haven't deceived me with their prices or their practices.

But I guess it's more satisfying to blame...

Did You read with attention what I wrote ? I didn't give a new meaning to the mentioned words. I just interpreted what the author had written. You give the strict literal meaning of "scam" and You make defense of DM and her site upon this language issue. In most languages of the western world,
"scam" or any equivalent of it is used in a wide meaning for anything that's silly expensive, over-priced in regard to its worth.
Good You gave the car example, but You put it wrong. We're not talking of a 500 $ BMW. We're talking rather of a 1000 $ jeans pair. If a designer clothing manufacturer sets a price of 1000 $ for a pair of jeans, and there are some doing that, that's scam, because a pair of jeans of the very same quality by a mass jeans manufacturer is 10 times less and there is absolutely no reason to set a 1000 $ price, except sheer greed.
