My wife would be an excellent spokesperson for people to get their shot. Unfortunately she is too shy for public speaking. She says her ICU unit is full of unvaccinated people. The hospital is trying to get her to add on more hours. My wife is a very middle of the road type of person and not any kind of extremist for either side. She took me by the ear and made sure I got both shots. I'll take whatever risk from the vaccination because I eliminated what I believe is the greater risk. I trust what she says and even my ***** relatives trust her more than me.
We need to especially make sure homeless people and ******* aliens are vaccinated like everyone else. The virus doesn't care about your immigration status or economic level. The virus is not politically correct in how it chooses its victims.
I would make a horrible nurse. I would question and make every unvaccinated person who came into my unit explain why they didn't get the shot and make them think if their reasons were worth it. All the while, anyone who did get vaccinated would be wheeled to the front of the line.

My wife has special skills. She is cool as a cucumber and walks through the house door with a peaceful smile. As her husband I make sure to always be available when she needs to vent about something. She is the tough one. I'm just the one with a history of ********. Big difference.
I'd make a worse nurse than you. How long do you think it would take for my stupid ass to get fired over saying something innapropriate? I don't have a dark sense of humor. I have a morbid sense of humor. People that close to death are not the right crowd for my night at the improv.

Lux, how has your Summer been as far as travel? Any issues or stories you'd like to share?
We just took a few road trips and are waiting for December to go to Hawaii. We shall see what that is like when the time comes. Trying to live life and enjoy ourselves as much as we can.

Nothing new here, it's still 2020 where I live.
About 80% of adults got at least one vaccine dose, and about 65% of ******** 12~17 got at least one dose so far.
Schools will probably open, but all students will have to wear masks. Hopefully there won't be another outbreak this year.
When I was a ***** we looked forward to days off school, but I feel pity for the students now.

I think of overly aggressive sporting parents when I read stories like this one. Parents who oppose mask mandates - are they really doing it for their **** or living vicariously using them as pawns?
