taxing the same percentage on everyone is not FAIR.
because all the other forms of taxes (VAT,for instance) are the same for everyone.that is not FAIR.when you buy a bottle of ******* and you pay the VAT,it is not proportionate to your earnings.why shouldn't it be?the way it is now,the poor ,middle-class man,pays way more taxes when he buys any goods than the rich.
also:let's take parking tickets:they too should be proportionate to the person's earnings.having people pay the same amount of money for the same infraction is not fair.because for a rich man it is just pennies,for a poor man it is a lot.so the rich can afford not to respect the law,while the poor does not have that option.
let's not talk about bail,court's decisions that one can buy-off etc.Why is that even an option??you commit a crime,you're sentenced,and then you PAY it off and walk around free?is that fair?if you don't have the money,you rot in jail,and a bad jail for that matter.Madoff is staying in a luxury jail....
