Well, if you were going to Vancouver I'd HIGHLY recommend the Vancouver Alpen Club. Since you're not, though, I'll refrain from suggesting anything.

Actually, I lied. Take a trip to Windsor and have some Hennessy with STDiva. ;)

Forget the bad advices, just enjoy the trip!

Jesus fucking dogshit, are you really THAT fucking stupid that you can't see that the majority of the responses are legitimate advice from people who actually have knowledge of the place, or is it just part of your M.O. as post count spam troll extraordinaire that you just have to spew something retarded without so much as bothering to look at any of the replies? Gawd, how I miss the days when I could ban trolls!

Yes, I'm aware that the show took place in Frostbite Falls, Minnesota, but as far as I'm concerned mooses (meeses? what's the plural for moose?) are Canadian.

In Toronto -

If it is a clear day, go up the CN tower. You can see a long way, and it's quite a remarkable view

Go to China town on Spadina Avenue south of Bloor. It's worth seeing, and you can get amazing food at a very good price

Go to the Island harbour if you can, it's beautiful

The Toronto Symphony is playing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and it's worth hearing them in Roy Thompson Hall. Great place.

Check out Queen's Quay, it's kinda nice. There's also a great night club there called "The Guvernmnet" http://theguvernment.com

If you want some good food, go to Pinocchio's. Great Italian restaurant. Amazing food. It's a little old fashioned, so if you're not into that, go to Il Fornello in the Greek part of town. Also great.

You could also check out the Royal Conservatory of Music, there are usually great free recitals going on.

Decent shopping in the Eaton Centre right down town.

There are so many things to do in Toronto! I miss living in that city.

My ex and I went to Toronto for my birthday in April and it was great. We definitely didn't get to do even a percent of what the city has to offer, but you have to hit the "Real Sports Bar." 200 HD screens (one being the biggest in North America at two stories high) and the food is absolutely amazing! Enjoy :)

How long as it been since you were living here ?

Eatons may be the best mall for shopping downtown but now Yorkdale is the place to shop, 'uptown'.
They recently just finished a 145,000 square foot expansion adding more high end flashy clothes stores. Even a Tesla Motors right inside the mall and a bigger Apple and new Microsoft store right next to each other.

They plan to expand again and be done by 2016 another 298,000 sq/ft.

Also last night as I was leaving a Blue Jays game, which is something else you may want to take in while you visit, Red XXX, I noticed they are in the middle of building a Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada next to the CN Tower.

We almost had a new downtown casino too but that got voted down.

What I do hate about this city is how many condos are going up everywhere lately. Its to congested as it is with rush hour traffic. I plan to move up north or at least out of the city very soon.

Leaf fan I see...did you end up watching any Leaf games on the big screen outside in front of ACC for the away games ??

It has been a while, but I was speaking strictly downtown. The Yorkdale mall is definitely the place to shop, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to get to if you're downtown. That's a haul on the subway.

Only about 20 minutres on the Sibway from union to the mall. I like the mall in Woodridge better, though.

20-30 minutes from Union Station. :)

Really? I've done that trip. Felt like an eternity.

Maybe that's because I was sitting next to you, though.

Depends on the time of day really. Took 15-20 myself from Union to York Mills last night after game. Plus I got to ride the new trains for the first time.
Was kinda trippy looking down the whole length of the train as it came to bends on the track while still buzzed from all the beer I had.

You mean the Vaughn Mills mall ?? I never been to a mall in Woodbridge area.

Women be shoppin'.

My wife be one of them. :suicide:
