Of course, it can’t.
Awesome first post. Can you go practice swan diving off of tall buildings now?
"Don't worry Larry, I mean arwor, he's just kidding"

Of course it is possible for the team of the Unites States to win the tournament.
In their group, England stands out, of course, so if the USA makes a solid second place in the group phase, against Algeria and Slovenia, they can go on then and then it is KO each game.
Who would have thought that, as an example, Greece would be European Champions way back in 2004?
That is the beauty of the game.
But as it seems, so many US-Americans can't see the fascination in Soccer.
Well, each to his own.
I love it, just having seen the first two games.
That's because they're a bunch of fat, lazy pigeroos. Ever seen your average NFL fan in the stands? It's embarassing. Dressing up in makeup and freaking costumes is not cool. Take a look at the Redskins closet homosexuals:

Well there is the slightest chance say if all the other teams drop dead of a mass heart ******.
All of them. :dunno:Those two million live in Chicago, when your hometown is in the finals of anything people get excited. It was the same around here a few years ago when the Hurricanes were in the Stanley Cup Finals.
See how many millions show up for the NBA Finals Champion next week or the week after. It will dwarf 2 million.
You know what a small percentage of Americans care about hockey and soccer compared to baseball, football and basketball?
I played little league, middle school, high school and college football so....
I honestly don't know what you are talking about.
You have an article or pics or something?
Red Sox?
Why is there a World Cup to begin with? Why don't we just call the champions of the Major League Soccer "world champions"? Sounds reasonable enough when it works in other "sports" like football or baseball. :1orglaugh
no Chance in hell sorry

The US has less than a 0% chance of winning the World Cup
no such thing.
Mr Blutarsky.......zero point zero.
Now we argue about numbers.
0.0% = 0%
If the U.S. goes on a deep run this WOrld Cup the seeds will be planted for some 8-10 yr olds right now to drop their basketballs and footballs and pick up soccer balls :yesyes:
I think if the fat-bellied, greasy-chinned, fast food eating American could sit down with someone knowledgeable about Soccer to explain what's going on, the lazy American football fan could easily be converted to Soccer. :yesyes:
The passion that Soccer elicits is the same that College Football elicits.
