Can anyone ID this bug?

Kind of a strange question...but I've seen stranger around here....

I've googled this and asked around, and some say it's part of a group of daytime flying moths referred to as Hummingbird moths. These moths are members of the Sphinx or Hawkmoth ******. I've lived here about 4 years and this summer is the first time I've seen it... I was lucky enough to have a camera when one appeared 2 feet in front of me. I live in Southern Ontario (that's in Canada) Anyone else seen these? If so, where are you located...

It kind of looks like it may have a stinger.

It came within like a foot of me and didn't seem to worried about me, it was so cool looking that I just stood there and watched it, not even thinking it could have had a huge stinger....

it's called the Bumblebee Moth Premium Link Upgrade

Slight variation to the Hummingbird Moth, different shape so I don't think that was it. flylicker
