Early Work
Alice began her singing career at age 16 as a runner-up in Canada's Premium Link Upgrade .[ Premium Link Upgrade ] Her performances were inspired by her role models Premium Link Upgrade and Premium Link Upgrade .[ Premium Link Upgrade ] She then went on to work with producers Premium Link Upgrade , Premium Link Upgrade Russell Broom, and Mitch Lee. In addition, she was the vocalist in a USA nationwide television commercial for Premium Link Upgrade , Premium Link Upgrade which featured a cover of the song "Reach Out of the Darkness".
Alice approached Lisa Jacobs in 2011 and suggested they write a song together. Premium Link Upgrade In early 2012, the pair decided to collaborate, birthing Premium Link Upgrade . In 2014, Alice co-wrote "Jackpot" with Hello Moth. It was released on YouTube on December 25, 2014. The song reached #43 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 chart the week of July 25, 2015, Premium Link Upgrade and climbed to #38 the following week. Controversy
During her rendition of " Premium Link Upgrade " prior to the Premium Link Upgrade in Premium Link Upgrade on July 11, 2017, Alice suddenly giggled after singing the line “God keep our Land,” prompting a startled response from some players and fans in attendance.
Alice received severe backlash from news outlets and online commenters, with several observing that she had disrespected and "butchered" the anthem, dubbing the rendition an "absolute disaster" and "one of the worst attempts in recent memory" Premium Link Upgrade Premium Link Upgrade and criticizing her singing in general.
