Black Friday

People that camp outside of stores in the cold and fight the crowds at 3:00 a.m just to have chance of getting one of the limited products they probably don't need anyways are pathetic and seriously need to get a life.

I feel bad for the workers that have to be at these stores in the middle of the night dealing with theses crazyasses. I don't think any retail job is worth that.

I find it silly. However talk about how programmed people are by sales and the exclusive up in the middle of the night to buy things that will still be there along with four hours extra ***** if the stores opened up at normal timing or an hour early.

Though to call them pathetic and needing to get a life is rather crude statement. What is pathetic is how a mob of shoppers are unable to maintain composure and commonsense whilst shopping. Just go look up Black Friday stampede/stomping from these groups of people clamoring for on sale items; deaths, severe injuries, and just plain stupidity leading to folks getting harmed. That's when they should of put a stop to all of this nonsense, or have security make sure people walk in as if any other day and act like they have some damn brains and self control or they will be escorted off the premise with a fine.

I can't believe some of the stories I hear about Black Friday tragedies on the news either on Friday or within the next week.

I'll admit I've gone out early a couple years, but would never wait in the cold through the day i should spend eating and watching football with ******.

One year I hit Dick's Sporting Goods for a great deal on kayaks... which almost fit into my shorty Blazer... I say almost, because in pushing to get them totally in, I managed to crack my windshield... so much for a great deal!

I've already got my Christmas gift... Santa dropped it off early since it would be too heavy for the reindeer to carry... Course now it's too cold here to ride.

Happy (And Safe) Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Yea it is crazy, I can't beleive how insane people get over it all

I went one year with some friends to see what we could get. I got a good deal on an SLR camera, and my friend bought a surround sound system. We locked it in his car and walked across the street to get some coffee only to come back and find his car broken into and all of our stuff, along with his stereo, c.d's and whatever else he had in there, stolen. Some sad, desperate person was probably waiting for people to go to their cars so they could steal their ****. That is the demographic Black Friday attracts. Thieves, and people that would trample another human being for a Nintendo Wii. Black Friday symbolizes everything that is wrong with humanity.

Another fringe benefit of living in the greater Detroit area. :elaugh:

I got all of my shopping done, on line.

Black Friday? Why couldn't it just be Friday you racist fucks! Everyone knows that the day after Thanksgiving is a fucked up day, but you gotta go and call it "BLACK" just to add insult to injury.

I am obviously just fucking around, but in all seriousness, I **** Black Friday.

without a successful start to the holiday shopping, many retailers will not be in the "black" this year. A good day today can make their annual budgets
