St Louis is already on there and The Lakers themselves trump most cities as a whole, not to mention the Dodgers and Angels. Assuming L.A is off the list, who goes on? Miami? Cleveland? Phoenix? Atlanta? Toronto? Denver? And why doesn't Pittsburgh belong?

C'mon, this one ain't even open for discussion.
It's the NYC/NJ area.
There are NO states in the union where the scrutiny even come close.
10 newspapers, MULTIPLE sports channels which, in some cases, sports teams have their OWN channel!
MULTIPLE news channels and MANY sports critics and "Analysts".
