1) Game of Thrones
2) Breaking Bad
3) Fringe

Game of Thrones is the only show ever where I watched a previous season for the second time before starting with the next season.
No other shows have been worth that.

DOH! Game of Thrones! Yeah, I forgot about that one, too! It's a seriously good show!

persona non grata
American Horror Story

I'm watching some specialist videos
Good one Patrick - American Horror Story is great.

The Newsroom is the best show that I have seen in quite a while.

I went for Weeds here, but Walking Dead is good too.
Others - Fringe, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood.

I did not peg you as a Dexter fan.

I caught Boss on a free Starz preview weekend last year. I was instantly hooked, seeing "Frasier" playing that character. With the recent death of a certain major character, I couldn't see how they'd pull it off going forward. But they have and it's even better than ever. Once Breaking Bad ends, I'll be holding onto Boss after that. It really is on the same level (writing and acting wise) as Breaking Bad... just with more bare boobs and sex.
Honestly,as much as I love Breaking Bad,Boss is just a better written show. Then again,I just might be a little bias because it's about where I'm from, but I think Kelsey Grammar pretty much makes me forget that he ever played Frasier Crane whenever I watch Boss.

The only thing that's starting to piss me off about Breaking Bad is pretty much the same thing that happens on every show sooner or later;characters start to act completely out of character too fast.I can see that people change, but in a lot of shows, people actions and opinions sway too quickly for me.

Another show that I thought was great was The Killing.I still have to finish the second season, but the first one was actually pretty fucking good.I heard that Direct TV or Netflix might pick it up,fingers crossed.

The Killing? I never watched that. I know it was on AMC too - and that's my favorite network these days. But somehow I never gave The Killing a shot early on. I did watch an amazing show called Rubicon - also on AMC. It only lasted for one season and it was never given a real chance, IMO. But I loved it. Probably too much of a slow burn for most viewers, I guess.

DirecTV does pick up some good shows for its in-house Audience network - so maybe they will get The Killing.

Another show that I wanted to mention was Luther from BBC America. But I'm not sure if another season is forthcoming. Excellent show though!

I think there is some good TV out there. You just have to search wide & deep to find it these days.

Gota go with the walking dead. mainly cuz im a zombie horror buff

I'm a zombie horror buff too, and that's exactly what makes that show so disappointing.

Oh zombies are popular? Let's make a shit tv show with shit acting and no progression out of a good book. It's such an obvious cash grab. It's like those studios who release movies like Abraham Lincoln vs Vampires, except they should have named it This Isn't The Walking Dead. A shit parody.
