ok wateva..

were talkin bout beds here.

ive got a single, king size and im still to tall so my feet over hang off... wich is partly uncumfy...im 6'6..lol

I didn't know that all kings were the same size. next time I have a king over, I'm going to be like "you're in for a real treat. I have a bed made to your exact specifications." I got one for your old lady too.

when I was a kid I used to sleep on a twin sized bed and wonder where my brother was.

My bed is a single sized mattress right on the floor. It is never made, the sheets are never tucked in, plus the sheets are made for a double sized bed, but I am to cheep to purchase proper sheets.

I lost my pillow case when I moved, so I am using a beach towel as a pillow case, and the pillow is so old and has zero cushioning that I have to roll up and old sweater and put it under the pillow for support

I would like to have my bed on a frame with wheels, but I move around a lot when I sleep that I may fall off the bed and hurt myself

I don't know if it's true or not but I heard somewhere that the really old pillows can have a significant portion of their weight be made up of just dust mites and other microscopic living things. Hopefully that’s just a myth. :1orglaugh

queen size, pretty firm mattress, no head or footboard, crappy frame...we bought it from an antique place for $90...our guest room bed is a lot more comfortable...we bought it from con artists for $50 and it was still wrapped in plastic, & still had the brand new smell

Memory foam and latex foams ...

The two biggest technologies are memory foam, which is now around 30-40% of beds sold, and then the latex foams, which are newer.

Memory foam is nice, conforms to your body, great for cooler climates. Depending on your weight, some brands -- even the very "household name," costly brands -- will sag and wear poorly over time. A few have even firmer and thicker for less, direct to your house. If you're looking for memory foam.

The other segment, which is also growing, is latex foam. I have a latex foam. I live in a warmer climate and I'm 220lbs. these days (about 50lbs. heavier than my most athletic, 3-sport form in high school). It breathes better, cooler around my body and will last longer. Serta has been pushing theirs pretty hard in the stores, and its cheaper than the "household name" memory foam too.
