Because they are unprofessional, time wasters and they are equipped to penetrate through the toughest steel underwear you can wear.
Of course, i'm generalizing and there are exceptions which confirm the rule, but yeah...my advice would be to stay away from porn agencies if you can.

I second this. I don't particularly like modeling agencies of any sort. Some are ok, but most are just a pain in the ass. It's better to find your own work, work with who you want to, and set your own standards for yourself than be with an agency who takes a large cut of your pay, dictates who you work with, advises you against doing such-and-such type of work, etc. I don't know how porn agencies specifically work, but I would presume it's relatively the same as a standard model agency, with the added sex factor of course.

So it wouldn't be cool if I rented a hotel room, put an ad in the paper seeking "calendar models", lured aspiring models into my clutches, explained that there could be nudity, if she's not ok with that thank her for stopping by, but this gig just isn't for her, if she's ok with that proceed to explain how the more nudity she's willing to do the more she'll get paid, check her willingness again, if she's good, tell her that you're also into other lines of adult entertainment, but she's got to "try out" first, if she's cool with that check her ID, have her sign a release, standard practice and all, fuck her brains out and tell her to expect a call-back in a day or so. Clean up shop, move on to the next town.
