Amen. Even if necessary to protect people, it will be a sad day. They shouldn't have been tamed.
Depends on who you ask. According to Obama hating Americans who still believe the man is a Muslim, American is god's language and was invented here by red blooded Americans. Anything that resembles our language in any way is just a bastard language that tries to rip off the American style like the rest of the world does. American's didn't come from any other country. Our ancestors were not Immigrants or Slaves or whatever. We manifested here and became the best country in the world over night. Of course, if you ask an Englishman what the American language is, its a complete and total butchery of the language spoken by those native to the British Isles.
No joke, I hear people say they speak American all the damn time here. I was joking around, but what I said above is probably not far from the truth.

You still didn't really answer his question. What are the negatives of it? Can you even think of any negatives besides largely emotional ones that are some variant or another where they shouldn't be ****** because they look like cute cuddly animals. Even if, hypothetically, they did experience a painful death, so what? Most animals that die in nature end up experiencing one, and unless the person doing the ******* is purposely doing it to be sick and sadistic should it even matter, if they are doing it in the most efficient manner available to them?
What's also not taken into account is the fact that many of the people that hunt them live in near abject poverty and rely on it, and people don't seem to bother to give them an reasonable alternative. It's easy to sit in a chair thousands of miles away and condemn them for something like that.

Cows, chicken, pigs, etc are bred, meaning that they wouldn't even exist except for our consumption. I can live with that. Deer, elk, bear, antelope all have natural skills that they can use to evade hunters. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. I can live with that. A man walking up to a baby seal and clubbing it falls into neither category. Nor does any of the products coming from the seals meet any criteria of necessity in the modern world. What happened a 100 or more years ago to seals, whales, buffalo etc. does not concern me and I have never laid any bad will on the people in those times. But it is an obsolete practice. Just like whale oil and buffalo robes, there is nothing on a seal that can't be purchased cheaper and easier through modern methods. Hell, most sealers are probably real proud of their North Face jackets. Meanwhile, grown men walk up to babies, who sit there and look at them, and club them over the head and skin them. Do you really find anything about that that is to be respected? I don't. You say I didn't answer the question with my other post? I think I did. I've gone to the sealers own websites. I've read their reasons and testimonials. But if you and I go to the hunting grounds just to watch, we are subject to arrest under Canadian law, and it has happened to others. Why? If they are so proud of their demented little heritage, what is it that they are hiding? Until there is independent verification of how "humane" clubbing is, I remain in doubt and I will keep my scathing contempt of the people who do it.
It's absolute bullshit, this line that taking away sealing will cost people their jobs. Well, not really. But in this supposedly evolving world, people are losing jobs all the time. Start riding a ***** to work. That car you're driving is taking jobs away from blacksmiths and saddle-makers. Amtrak used to be how people get around, now it doesn't even occur to 99% of travelers thanks to air travel. Computers have axed a thousand years worth of jobs in the last twenty. Or do you still take film to the 1-hour photo place to be developed? Hell, there are Africans who wish they had it as good as these people, but that is no justification for ******* mountain gorillas or rhinos. As the late, great Sam Kinison said, "If you know people who are starving, don't send them food. Send them luggage." As someone who just went to a **** load of trouble and expense to relocate to where I can get a better life, don't come ****** to me about how these people need to stay in their godforsaken part of the world.

Who established which animals are "socially acceptable" to ****? Society does, and for the most part I agree. Hunting for survival is instinct. Fuck, if I had to **** and eat Toto the dog, although I loved the sucker to death (lol), I would totally do it to ensure my life and welfare of my ******. A lot of hunters actually are doing a good thing for the environment. They **** the ****** efficiently and quickly, and they use the ****** afterwards. They follow laws and regulations and ensure that the animals will for sure be plentiful for the next season.
Trappers, trophy hunters, and poachers are a ********. They ****, just so they can have some dumb head on the wall. To me, if you want to be prideful of an ****** you ******, try taking a Lion down with your own natural bare hands and then be proud. Any moron can point a *** and shoot it. Poachers are douchebags who don't care about any of the REAL hunters, and trappers are just cheaters.
