For drag racing the 69-70 Road Runner Superbee or Coronet Superbee with the 440-6 were the ideal cars, where you had a dana 60 sure grip with a 4.10 axle ratio allowing you to get fast on the quarter mile. A pristine Daytona or Superbird is punching above 400000$ considering the price tag for one with the 440-6 and 1000000$ for one with the 426 Hemi.Yeah, now that you mention it, it should be a 6-pack. If you have one in Petty blue, with a 426 Hemi, you have the apex of Mopar's. If I were an investor, I would want the Hemi, but for light to light street drag racing, and lightin' up the tires, a 440 6-pack is the way to go.
Very few people buy electric cars but governments want to force people to buy these pieces of crap. The battery of an electric car is polluting more than a perfectly maintained big block engine of a full size sedan from the 60's-mid 70's.I haven't had an iphone and I have banned apple whther as a mobile phone and computer products. They are made in China and not at the quality level of what Bittium makes in terms of highly securised mobile phones.Pity the rest of the world who is being subjugated to this too!
I know I have no intentions of buying an EV, or any car for that matter, until I absolutely need to. And the article seems to show I'm in the majority. Which means that with less demand, that's one less reason for car manufacturers develop efficiencies which could reduce the costs of EVs. Which again makes them less attractive for the masses to adopt them before they are literally forced to.
Governments were quick to make the commitment to force EVs on us, but no commitment to make the forced change at least comparable to the cost of current car ownership. Imagine being told that you have to upgrade to a new iphone 20 (or whatever they're on right now), even though you don't want one, nor really are able to afford one, and are perfectly happy with the phone you have right now.
one of the best but I prefer this Classic recreation Shelby GT500CR 900S
There should be an audible reminder to reset your trip counter when your odo hits 122667. With blaring lights and and a text message.Woman just don't get it. Good job man, nice save. I bet she's still giving you funny looks for doing the right thing. The manly thing!
For 300000$ I would rather buy a 1970 matching numbers Chevelle SS 454 LS6 or a 1968 matching numbers Dodge Charger 426 Hemi R/T with Galen Govier fender tag's decodingPeople thought $100,000 for a new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was outrageous?? How about $300,000 for the Ford Mustang GTD?
