Attacks in Paris

Did you see Stompy Foot at the podium? His empty platitudes and denials about islamic terror are encouraging the enemies of liberty. On a side note: Anyone who still thinks that "Climate change" is still the greatest threat to the world after last night is an asshole.

Of course Obama was the cause. Of course the world revolves around the U.S. Duh. Of course every terror attack is the result of the fecklessness of Obama. Duh. God forbid if we weren't at the center of every major news story. Can't have that now can we

(P.S. Daesh has claimed responsibility for the attacks and says the attacks were retaliation for French airstrikes in Syria. No where was Obama mentioned)

Stompy Foot has been blaming Bush for the last seven years. I think it's fair to blame him and Hilldebeast for the failure of their kumbaya foreign policy allowing ISIS to profligate.

So Army took the field today. Saying "I heart France" is pretty neat. But the real question is do you support bombing the shit out of the caliphate and stopping the flow of male military aged Syrian "refugees" into your country? Oops, too late. 10,000 of them arrived in New Orleans.

Stop acting so innocent and as a good comedian. I don't think that Obama likes christians nor jews so much, a lot of people don't think that he is a christian. He is the only american president who to the funerals of a muslim leader (King Fahd of Saudi Arabia) and the only one who was ready to sign a nuclear dear with Iran
Let me refresh you your memory since you have totally forgotten what Obama says about Islam from http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/40-mind-blowing-quotes-barack-hussein-obama-islam-christianity/

20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Islam and Mohammed :
#1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”
#2 “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”
#3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”
#4 “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”
#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”
#6 “Islam has always been part of America”
#7 “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”
#8 “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”
#9 “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”
#10 “I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.”
#11 “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”
#12 “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”
#13 “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”
#14 “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”
#15 “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”
#16 “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”
#17 “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”
#18 “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”
#19 “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”
#20 “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Christianity and the Bible:
#1 “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”
#2 “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”
#3 “Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination? Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”
#4 “Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”
#5 “The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”
#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”
#7 Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”
#8 “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”
#9 “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”
#10 “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”
#11 “I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”
#12 “I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”
#13 “Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”
#14 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”
#15 “You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
#16 “In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”
#17 “On Easter or Christmas Day, my mother might drag me to church, just as she dragged me to the Buddhist temple, the Chinese New Year celebration, the Shinto shrine, and ancient Hawaiian burial sites.”
#18 “We have Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, and their own path to grace is one that we have to revere and respect as much as our own”
#19 “All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra — (applause) — as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer. (Applause.)”
#20 “I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”

So what's your stance on that knowitall hotshot??

I'm just going to c&p georges' post as my answers if you don't mind. We're pretty much simpatico anyways. Why did I sign up for this? It feels like homework.

jk, I'll get back to you.

-permanently closed boarders with zero refugees accepted and with very strict control of who you let in (only people with goodwill, money, dignity and integrity can add something positive)
-no more free social security, free healthcare, free social housing and any social helps for a person who has never worked in a country where she/he migrated in and who is just a leech off
-withdrawal of the nationality and prosecution to jail for life if someone who is a foreigner is responsible of an act of terrorism or criminality
-voting law against minarets as it was the case in Switzerland in 2009
-implementing a bigger eaves dropping and phone conversations listening of people who are refugees from Iraq, Syria and countries with radical islamic terrorists issues
-each european law enforcement agency, each european army and interpol must work all together to fight against this phenomena and against any form of terrorism
-planned killings against djihadists and islamic leaders kinda like the Mossad did when terrorists attacks happened in Israel
-if a financial help is then used by a country for funding terrorism, then cut the funds permanently

1) Yeah, let them die, even if we are the ones who created the problem. Western countries interventions in the Middel-East have created a monster called ISIS, now, let's reject the people who are just trying to flee that monster we created...
2) Yeah, 'cause without healthcare or housingn, they will surely have it easier to find a job...
3) That one works for me. As long as these people do have another nationality. Making people stateless is illegal under international laws (UN Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness, 1961)
4) This one goes against the 1905 Law of Separation of Church and State
5) Works for me
6) This one too
7) It seems it has worked perfectly, Israel is at peace, not a single attack in Israel for years...
8) And what about countries that officially are our allies but in fact, support ISIS, such as Saudi Arabia, UAE or Qatar ? And What about countries that are officialy our enemis but are in fact opposed to ISIS, such as Iran ?

It turns out one of the suicide bombers in the Paris attacks was a syrian refugee.

AT LEAST one of the terrorists responsible for the slaughter of 129 people in the Paris terror attacks was a Syrian refugee, officials have claimed.

A Greek government official revealed the man, who died in the terror seige on the French capital, had passed through the southern European country last month.

A passport was found near the body of the gunman, which revealed he arrived in mainland Europe from the Greek island of Leros, suggesting he had made his way there by boat.

It has been revealed the man was one of the suicide bombers at the Stade de France. He was not known to the French authorities.

Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas, in charge of police forces in Greece, has released the following statement: "On the case of the Syrian passport found at the scene of the terrorist attack, we announce that the passport holder had passed from Leros on October 3 where he was identified based on EU rules."

To Sabrina, Just BC, Animus Fox, Georges, Ace Boobtoucher: All of you have posted about how stupid the left is, and how it is leading to the collapse of Western civilization. Yet I do not recall ever seeing any of you offer an actual solution;

Please each of you describe exactly how you think we should resolve the issues:

Refugees from the Middle East?

Denied. Unless they're women, children or families and are under threat of persecution like the yazidis or christians who are being slaughtered like sheep. But single, military-aged males who at best are fleeing to avoid conscription or to take advantage of the western nations' social programs and at worst
to strike at the infidel at their home. Oh, and to rape girls. No way.

Prevent future acts of terror in the West?

First off, dump the PC idiocy. Profile, profile and profile some more. It's worked brilliantly for Israeli air travel. There's been the rare exception, but the majority of these terrorist attacks have been commtted by people who fit a specific profile - they like to say "allahu akbar" while killing people.
While grandma with her walker and her colostomy bag is being felt up and stripped down by TSA agents, Ahmed and his "clock" would be given a pass so as not to stereotype.

And bolster your intelligence resources and adjust your methods so that more attacks of this nature can be detected beforehand. You know what's the greatest recruiting tool for ISIS and their bunch? Not guantanemo or abu ghraib but spectacular successes like 9/11 and what happened in Paris yesterday.
ISIS is celebrating like they just won the Super Bowl. They are the baddest of the bad-ass and any homocidal maniac with visions of glory would naturally want to be part of that team. Al-Qaeda has been relegated to JV.

ISIS, and other terrorist groups in the Middle East?

Kill them, wherever they are and keep killing them. I've cheered Obama on his ramped up drone strike program. Yes, assassinate each one of these motherfuckers. Whenever they poke their head out of whatever gopher hole they're in, some 20-year-old at an air force base in Nevada pulls the trigger on his xbox controller.
Boom. Enjoy your 72-year-old virgin, Jihadi John. You want to kill their leadership with targeted strikes or just flatten al-raqqa, just do it. Terrorize the terrorists. Make them fear the open sky. They're pieces of shit from a bygone era but they're not machines.

Anti Western sentiment in Middle Eastern governments, which leads several of them to funding terrorist groups?

We go after them where it hurts, by continuing to develop our own energy resources. Unless you think appeasing them by abandoning our truest ally in the region would be better. They'd still hate us anyways.

No. When you call them "ISIS" you're validating them by saying that they are an Islamic state. "Daesh" in Arabic means someone who creates disunity. It also is similar to the word "daas", meaning someone who crushes something underfoot -with overtones of humiliation and a lack of dignity. There's a negative connotation to "Daesh" and it's meant to insult. That's why the world, outside of the U.S, uses it

That'll show'em.

I'm talking for practical purposes. You have the western media calling them "ISIS", the president calling them "ISIL" and some calling them "IS" and the rest calling them "Daesh."

Makes total sense.

Thanks Animus for the response I tend to agree with you on the refugee issue, though I would broaden it to accept women/female children looking to escape Saudi Arabia, and the other regions where they can be executed for little or no reason. I'm think along the likes of Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head for seeking an education.

She to me represents a genuine political refugee. I don't have a religious criteria for a refugee if they are similar to her.

There are possible solutions by being very pragmatic, determined and ruthless:

-permanently closed boarders with zero refugees accepted and with very strict control of who you let in (only people with goodwill, money, dignity and integrity can add something positive)
-no more free social security, free healthcare, free social housing and any social helps for a person who has never worked in a country where she/he migrated in and who is just a leech off

You have to be pragmatic, bold when you are a politician and think about your country's interests. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a french pragmatic politician since De Gaulle's death

We will never end their anti- western sentiments. The west is either predominately Christian, Jewish or secular atheist. None are acceptable to Islam so the infidel must be eliminated.

We are not obligated to accept immigrants. Sorry, but we are not. The other Arab countries won't take them, neither should we. We do so at our peril.

They want to live in the 7th century bomb them so they can realize their dream faster. Collateral damage is acceptable. Babies , women all of them. We didn't cause it, the Jihadists did.

Basically, I have no mercy on them . They want to kill every westerner they see and this is a never ending war so take it to them. And deport every one of them that are here illegally. Fuck 'em.

Exactly. This might be hard to swallow for some, but we're never going to "destroy" or "eradicate" ISIS. There will be no "mission accomplished" in the war on terror. Obama will say that we're going to destroy them but he knows that's not true and that that is just something you have to say because that's what the American people want to hear. We can prevent the actual act of terror but we'll never be able to prevent extremism, which is what causes these people to go out and produce acts of terror

Sadly, I would even go a step farther than that. Even preventing the actual acts of terror is extremely hard to the point of being impossible to stop every mass killing. Sometimes good intel can stop them, but just as much it seems when they do fail it's because of pure luck or gross incompetence by the terrorist. That's not always going to be in our favor. There are just too many soft targets that are too easy to kill, and it will always be that way as there is nothing realistically we can do to protect ourselves from people that determined to kill others. It's happened now. It will happen again in the future. Totally altering our society in a futile attempt to do so would just hurt us, and us becoming just as bad as them for the sake of vengeance or false justice just hurts the world that much more.

It's also bad the terrorist don't realize they aren't any closer to winning than they were before. Scaring people and killing a few hundred isn't going win a war one wants to wage against a gigantic portion of the planet. It just pisses more people off against them because they want to kill a bunch of innocent people in vain.
