I have been to Paris for a long weekend. Enjoyed it, although to be honest I found the locals quite rude.
In Paris they are really rude.You should have go in towns like Bordeaux,Strasbourg or even Marseille where the locals love receive strangers; especially you Mr Trebus.

Well you're an impatient one! I shall have to remember that in all my future interactions with your good self. But technically you should have asked me that question here.
Anyway, on to more important matters such as goldfish & herons. The answer is zero, they were in actuality carefully crafted pieces of carrot - 7 of them in totality. The heron was playing a trick on you, after all they are known as the jesters of the avian world! & not for nothing one might add as their carrot/goldfish based prank would indicate!
