Just got Loren's TMR and now all except for my CG Fina is over 1k! I'm happy and proud considering little over a year being f2p and no macro I accomplished this.
Even thought everybody else is like 1500-2k+ now but I did it with just casual of casual playing lol

Exactly. It's just healthier to know what's reasonable as a F2P and be happy with what you get. You can't really get mad at something you don't spend money on... although spending money doesn't assure that you get what you want either, which is what makes gatchas so controversial.
...That said, I sometimes forget my own advice and I will get pissed when RNG is mean to me LOL

I just did the calculations, and even if you bought the biggest, most expensive lapis bundle, that's worth $473 USD!

As I mentioned, I never beat it legit, it's only because of that brilliant solo carry that I got it. So it's hard for me to give any hard advice. I'm trying to remember how the guy got the constant auto-reraise, but that might be the best way to counter the constant status ailments (incl the frozen hurricane). Remember Shiva AND Fenrir have Ice resist, but you'll also want Wind resist since that first strike is dual element. I do remember that a Lv30 Ifrit summon was enough to wipe all all the mini-birds, and the big bird itself is 1-shottable with a good fire attack.
Maybe if you can get your CG Fina with high enough Ice/Wind resist, she can be alive to AoE revive your party?

Fina survives more oft than not. I one shot it with Dragonlord Kafrizzle my friend unit is like 1500 mag, but it's not aoe sadly so can only focus on one. Problem with it though is since first attempt after that Dragonlord been wiped out on initial move and reraise with Fina doesn't help cos I'm wiped out 2nd or 3rd move. I'll get it. I'm breaking from it now though cos I don't wanna break my phone lol

That's why free is better. Now last year when I went through that two or three months not one rainbow or gold I was getting upset cos cos i figure if daily player and actually playing the game once a month should at least get a gold or two and a rainbow, especially if do 1/2 off purchase. Because that keeps the endorphins running seeing a rainbow and makes me wanna play to max it level out (depending who it is) or get around to it. How if i get all shit blues (seriously it was bad couple months) zidane, sabin, penolo, shadow and bartz all the time. Seriously i rarely got anything differently it was just them and another I can't think of that is crap. Yeah I almost quit for a while.

I looked at his stats after pulled and he is 50%+ on all elements and immune to everything except darkness and silence!

I pulled for him hard last DQ event because he is unique.
My tips would be:
Obviously enhance metal body
Max Pot his Mag. You won't use his magic, but his mag status are top tier, so that will help you when you send him on expeditions.
Give him Gauntlets & Carbon Bangle. Being able to equip shields + the HP boost are essential.
For Shield you can give him his TMR or Iris' Mog Plushie (innate provoke)
Max his LB, and since it's only 5* you can spam it every couple turns, basically making him immune to everything.
For me, I have his tmr on his, so he's 1200 HP, 410 MAG 1357 Def 660 Spr with 50% elemental resist and 100% status resist against everything but blind & silence

The one I messes with on friend unit was still 4* and had 1200 def and like 671 hp lol he never died when I did a lgd run on the DQ event. Tough little silvery shit lmao

There be two step ups. I already have friend units with him and up to 2200 atk. Sheesh. It was couple hours after reset and there already 7 star Hyoh 3 of them.

I think Mystea & Shylt are pretty even as mag tanks. I think the big thing is Shylt has AoE debuff resistance, while IIRC Mystea has ailment resistance?
Man, the trials are hard. Just got stomped by True Estark and the 2-headed dragon. Rinoa 3-apoc doesn't work for them....

Man I screwed up and used my 2nd lion to fuse instead of 7* it. I don't know if he's decent for 7* though.

Wow. Used 4 4* tickets and got 3 shatal and 1 Veritas of Wind.
8 tickets and a wasted 500 lapis on that first step that gave me a Wakka and the one with the Hyomonta(?) Or whatever tmr.
