If I started going out with a girl and then found out she was in the industry, I don't know how I'd take it. Depends how I found out and how far into the dating, I guess. Having never been in the position, I don't know, and I'm sure I never will.
If I started seeing someone with foreknowledge that they were in the adult biz... then, that's part of the deal and I would only get in if I knew I could handle it. Only a fucking idiot would start going out with a girl knowing what they did and then try to get them out of it. That's lame. Again, it's never going to happen, but there you go.
The issue has been done to death, and my answer remains the same ; I'd go out with a pornstar, if we clicked and got on, had things in common etc and I thought we would work well together. My attitude to "fucking other people" in that case is that it's not cheating, it's work, and the issue with cheating is the violation of trust - and I know what that feels like - but if you know what they're doing, then no trust has been broken. I also wouldn't expect - or want - to be allowed to fuck other people on the side, because that's me going out and seeking intimacy with other people for the pure pleasure of it, not because it's my job. What the pornstar does on set is work, she still comes home to me, and that's where all the important stuff goes on. The whole "having a life together" deal, the dates, the sharing a bed, the "other half" stuff. I'd like to think I'm strong enough to deal with it, if that person I just "click" with happens to be in that line of work.
I assume other guys don't agree/understand, and that's fine. It's a moot point anyway, like I say... never gonna happen.
