Shot a +1 36 (35 [9]) on my local muni' today. Of course, this is the course I grew up on (I can see it across the park of my ********* home) but I give mysef credit considering I'm overhauling my entire set. I have like 6 sets of irons, tons of woods and wedges I am continuing to try. I am not comfortable with any of my clubs at the moment, but the 983K Titty driver I juts picked up is coming around. I am happy I put my EFT Armour back in the bag. I am making some nice putts with that old gem.

I used to play almost every day.
I bought new Taylor irons last year and a new Cleve driver & 3 metal.
I haven't even put them in my car this year.
I was about a 12HC.
I've lost interest in a lot of thing lately.
I've been trying to get all this **** out of my house~~clutter~~because I want to sell out my life here and go somewhere south where it's warm and there are more black women.
I'm a white guy from Chicago and was in love with a black girl in my teens and have loved them ever since.
I live here in beercheeseredneckville~~Wisconsin and, I'm tired of it.
And, I drive a Jag convertible that sits for months every fucking winter.
I guess there's rednecks in every state, not just the South, lol.
I've played White Eagle and a few others in WI. (I HAVE played Troy Burne, but only some of the holes.) There are some nice courses just on the WI side of the border. Some real, real nice courses. There was one a friend and I played a good 6-7 years ago and I can't remember the name but the course was incredible. I believe it got 4.5 out of 5 in Golf Digest.

Golf can be a damn hard thing to do if you don't have some sort of hand eye-coordination-type of background. I played sporatically since probably about 13 but because we can only golf about 5 (give or take) months a year and I was busy with other sports I never took it seriously until after high school. I still kick myself for missing out on golf in high school.

I've found that you can overanylize things in the sport. Sometimes it's best to just play like Arnold Palmer played - like a bar room brawl. I know it's easier said than done.
I agree about the hand thing. I shot left handed and never found left handed clubs so I wound up being a right handed golfer, whereas I would probably be a really low handicap right now if only when I was younger there were left handed clubs around.
I would not recommend the game for people that are perfectionists or otherwise get upset about not seeing significant progress immediately.

I once hit a line drive from the tee 200 yards right into a fat chick's butt. Seriously, it didn't get more than three feet off the ground and I heard it smack her ass like a five pound ham dropped from a four story building. I lost a flip-flop running down to where she was rolling around on the ground. My buddies still laugh about my reaction: "OH MY GOD!!!! ARE YOU OKAY?"
I was the same way a while back. You gotta work on it. Tell yourself that it's not much different or no different at all from your favorite club to hit. Also, a club fitting might be of monumental help as well.
That's great. I followed Arnold Palmer around at the pro-am at the TPC of the Twin Cities several years ago and his partner hit right into him (actually hit his bag, not him). That dude must've felt pretty salty.
On my course lowlifes walk all over it like it's some friggin perfectly manacured grazing park or some ****. Sit on the benches, take pictures. Pisses me off to no end. I hit balls at them when I get the chance.

Basically had two snowmen (that's 8s) which crushed my round. Should have easily been a 75.
My putting is absolutely atrocious.
