Any golfers here?

I try to get out as often as I can in the summer. I had my handicap down to 16 at one time...but not any more...I get my monies worth :1orglaugh
It would be cool as hell for FreeOnes to have a golf outing.....get some OSCM's out there playing too. And ones who don't want to play can run around in beverage carts......have like the golf thing followed by a dinner party
I would consider taking some vacation time to make that event :thumbsup:

I tend to go out to the course with my clubs every weekend, but the game I am capable of playing cannot be called golf by any measure.
I bought a set of clubs to beat up ******** bums at the train station.

Does anybody ever wonder why somebody would play an expensive infuriating sport as a form of enjoyment?
It only takes one good shot to bring you back, plus it's fun.
It's only expensive if you can't afford it.

I know I'm resurrecting this thread, but after a too long search, I decided to add to this, rather than start a new one.
I got back into golf in August of last year and I still enjoy it - even if it is frustrating, it is still fun when you hit a good shot or play a good round.
Even though my two best scores ever were 81 and 84 and never have come close to duplicating those, I still try to go to the range and golf a least twice a month.
I know I will never improve if I don't play more, but as a hobby, I'm doing what would be expected.

I don't golf, but I do enjoy playing with sticks, and getting smacked by balls on occasion. Also I really for enjoy a hole in one, and one in the hole. I also like a well trimmed course. Damn maybe I do play golf - lol

No i never got into it
during my senior prom, we had the event at a country club. my date and i went out to the course, smoked a joint and had sex on one of the benches.... the only and last time i've ever been on the golf course
