Firstly, Who the fuck cares? And second, do you actually think that this "controversy" is going to end his recent fame? Because it's only going to make him bigger. That's how controversy works.
well i wouldn't like having korean troops running around my neck of the woods so i'm with him there, sounds perfectly reasonable to me. i could give a fuck less if he likes me or my country, he's an entertainer. entertainers often have ridiculous views on the world and nobody really gives a **** because they're just entertainers. they can be bat **** crazy for all i care, it just makes them more entertaining, which is kinda the point...i think if you got to know a few *********** personally you would likely find that many of them have their famous persona which makes them rich and famous and then they have their real personality when they're not in front of a camera. it makes sense that PSY would use anti-american, anti-establishmet messages and imagery, especially earlier in his career. i'm sure it really helped him establish a name for himself among rebellious young koreans, who gives a **** whether he actually believes it? it's a pretty common formula...black american rappers rap about getting bitches, making bank, ******* rivals and slinging ***** all the time cause it appeals to inner cities **** who grow up with nothing. lots of death metal and black metal feature satanic imagery and anti-christian messages because it appeals to their target audience. same with lots of punk rock with it's anti-establishment, anti-government messages. it's called marketing, you pick the demographic you want to target and you tailor your product to suit. if the artist happens to believe in what they're saying then good for them, they're standing behind their beliefs and that's the beauty of freedom. if they don't actually mean what they say and they're just doing it to get money then good for them, yet another way freedom is a beautiful thing...

I barely know who this character is. And although I completely agree that all American troops should be pulled out of South Korea (Japan and most every other foreign nation), I don't care for how he expressed that opinion. The White House should definitely "uninvite" him from performing for the President. But other than that, who cares? In a couple of years he'll be hanging out with Milli Vanilli and the group that sang that dopey Macarena song... talking about "the good old days" when they were fab.

perhaps, but no amount of civilians with small arms are going to oust a properly trained and equipped military *****. besides a large portion of our armed civilians will bitch out after the first tank comes rolling their way and they realize their AR15's and deer hunting rifles barely nick the paint...our people aren't insanely fanatical enough to any unified cause to wage a real guerrilla war like the afghans do and even with their determination and improvisation we're still occupying their country. but that's all besides the point, the point was merely that people typically don't take kindly to foreign occupation that has overstayed it's welcome...south korea as a country might be grateful for our presence there but i doubt all of it's citizens would agree.
