It's not actually the quality of my camera that is the problem. In fact, I have the newest Logitech C910 web cam which streams and records in High Definition. The problem is Australia's internet which is completely backwards. I am currently running on an ADSL2+ connection. Unfortunately, unlike in other countries, ADSL2+ in Australia only gives you speeds of 10mbps download and 1mbps upload, even when you are right next to an exchange like myself. 99 per cent of the time these speeds, while backwards, are sufficient for good web cam image quality. But hopefully the NBN (National Broadband Network) infrastructure project in Australia all goes through and gets happening soon as it will make it even better.
