Amy Winehouse Found Dead

You wouldn't get any. Because you are a nobody. People that are fans of her music are obviously sympathetic about her death, regardless of the circumstances. Not sure how that makes them "fools" as you put it. & the comparison with Russian Roulette is nonsense.
:hatsoff:

Gettin' all twacked out on smack isn't a game, son, and that's what she was doin' - playing a game. She lost out. No different than Ryan Dunn, in a lot of ways (if in fact this was an OD).
I wasn't a big fan but my cousin did play her disc when I was with him and I did hear talent there.

Er I'm not your "son". I am fully aware that drug taking is not "a game". Not really sure what point you are trying to make in relation to my post you are quoting. . .:dunno:

I've no idea what her music was like as it's not my scene. But I did hear a joke about her name one time due to all the media coverage about her drug use. They refered to her as Amy Crackhouse. Fitting in a way I think. People who abuse drugs have no sympathy from me as it's self inflicted. The same goes for alcoholics. The troubles she had was not laid upon her with no power of her own to stop it from happening. She chose it and paid the ultimate price for it.

Nah Lindsay will be too busy causing trouble and getting free passes from the court for her efforts. It will be Charlie Sheen then I guess.

Really, too bad. She had a lot of talent, but let the demons of popularity overtake her and drag her to a very deep, dark place. Now, she will simply be put into the ever-growing "What if..." list.

Just from a human standpoint it was sad to watch her demise play out...

I just hope she is in a more peaceful place.

Irrespective of what her problems were, she simply couldn't overcome something that undoubtedly tormented her and most certainly brought allot of spiritual and physical pain to her life.

She freely chose her lifestyle and in some ways appeared to have embellished it...but I have to think no one wants to experience the suffering her choices caused her.

I'm sure there were days she regretted it and in that case it is a shame she couldn't help herself out of her circumstance.

1.) That response wasn't to Mrtb....

2.) Yeah, I responded appropriately to someone calling the same thing a game and not a game in the same post. Unless of course you were just playing yourself.

3.) Name calling is against the rules on FOs BS Scott.

It's certainly not happy news at all, but I can't pretend I feel any different than hearing about a random stranger. Understandably, her real fans feel much more strongly. However, now countless people will come out of the woodwork who suddenly have an opinion about her music (for a change), even though the only time most of us ever heard her name mentioned was when it was for her problems. This could've easily been one of the contributing factors to her decline, along with the other bad choices she made for herself. I'm sure it was a back-and-forth thing.
...and yes, she's part of the "27 Club" now, along with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain and whoever else.

I was a fan of her music, she was certainly talented, but I'll save my grief and sympathy for the poor children in Norway who had their young lives stolen from them instead of giving it to someone who threw theirs away.

RIP anyhow.

I'm watching some specialist videos
This damaged woman was truly talented.
Maybe she has found peace now.

She was an untalented coke head who embarrassed herself on stage time and time again while having an affair with the front pages of the tabloids for drug and alcohol abuse.

Dont spare sympathy for someone who actually got exactly what was inevitably coming to them.

Bet the bitch wishes she'd gone to rehab now!!!
Uncalled for! And you a mod. Shame on you.

She certainly was not untalented. Poor live performances were down to her drug use.
Drug addiction is a disease. Once hooked, it is extremely difficult to get away from it, especially if your partner is feeding it to you.
The same people go in and out of rehab. Some manage to stay off drink/drugs some just can't. I have had to deal with the reality of drink and drug addiction in my own family, and the afflicted are to be pitied, not lambasted.
How many people posting here smoke, and have tried to give up and failed.
Nicotine has very little affect on the brain compared with drink and drugs. Don't tell me that she chose to get addicted. She chose the lifestyle, but addiction creeps up on you. Experimentation becomes need.

Oh and Moonchild, your av is FUCKED UP :(

I do believe that that is Lexi Belle from her Twitter avatar

Playing with serious narcotics isn't a game. She made it a game though the way she was doing it. Just like DV said, she was essentially playing "Russian Roulette" with her life by messing with drugs.

And calling a person an ass is just the same as saying stupid, ignorant, dumb. You're just always looking for a fight with me and I'm sick and tired of your snotty shit. I call a spade a spade.

1.) As Petra states...characterizing opinions or posts...even if the characterization is stupid or dumb isn't against the rules.

2.) Posting in a thread you post in...even if responding to you isn't looking for a fight with you and not against the rules. Use the ignore feature like the admin and mods implore you to.

3.) Name calling is expressly against the rules. What don't you understand about that???

4.)..........

Hot Mega, Bloodshot.

Do not start this shit again. I get enough complaints about you two bitching at one another.

Ignore each other in this thread or pick the length of your vacation.
