I never understood what was supposed to be funny about Everyone loves Raymond, as shows go it has some humourous moments, but the characters involved, like someone pointed out earlier being about a ******, are so unrealistic. I thought part of the humour was that you could relate to the characters, and see how some of these recycled scenes are something weve all encounted, albeit on a smaller scale. But his ****** and ****** are two of the most annoying characters ive ever seen, to begin with they were only mildy offensive, there jokes passive and funny. But then in the newer ones it ****** being funny and became outright malicious and no woman would stand for it, and if i were in the position of raymond, I would not let my ****** speak to my wife like that.
raymond as a comedian is very poor, Ive listened to him on aol comedy and all he does is make jokes about his ********. I dont care about his childs inability to speak on the phone or his two year old sons erection (Thats just poor taste right there) even the audience laughter at parts seemed ******.
Paramount is a channel I spent a lot of time on and 75% of it is good stuff, ned and stacey (Loved that), scrubs (Go Dr Cox), frasier, and even the new "less than perfect" tickles me a little, one of my all time favourites mash as well.
Monty Python though I just look at and cant understand, I listened to a skit earlier and all they did for 5 minutes was chant "Spam", explain the humour in that to me. Even the movies, I was ****** to endure the holy grail and once again was left wondering what i had just watched.
I guess it depends on your type of humour, id like to think I have a broad range, spoof probably being one of my favourites.
