Ok I think I figured out why she is shooting almost no hardcore scenes. She seems to only be accepting b/g bookings through her website. Which means she is basically self representing herself, which has never really worked for any performer. Even for a softcore queen who owns her own paysite and businesses, that will not work. As a result, she basically has no name recognition in the hardcore world. That may seem crazy for Akira fans like us, but it appears to be true. I saw a twitter conversation where mimefreak didnt seem to know who she was. She does have a profile at 101 modeling, but she is only listed as solo and g/g there and you cant find her profile in their index. You need a direct link to it. If she is serious about wanting to shoot b/g scenes, she will have to join a talent agency, otherwise we will not see her in anything else.

If she really wants to shoot a high volume amount of b/g scenes, she can. She probably doesn't see the need to establish herself as b/g fixture. She can be selective. But let's be honest, if she wants to be filmed being fucked by a guy, no one is going to turn her down. It's just a matter of money.

As much as you or her other fans may want her to be b/g all star, it's really up to her and what she feels she wants to do.

I think he more realistic about doing b/g scene with other studio,lets be honest,she almost mid 30's and many newcomer that look younger than her will coming every single day and her chance to paid more get slim..

Guess you didn't read what I wrote. Akira saw her "mid-thirties" a decade ago. Tack on 12 years and you'll be closer to her real age. She didn't even get into the business until she was past 30. She's keeps her body in good shape and looks great for her age, but I don't think she'll be around much longer. It's not about competition for girls fresh off the bus; there's not nearly the money in porn there used to be and she has no reason to compete with them anyhow. I don't think she's sweating the B/G thing too much.
