Age Racism

Look brick-head - if you were writing in Finish, you may be correct, but last I checked, the combination of letters you arranged were arranged in English - therefore, you are brick-head, English for someone who is stubborn to the point of being wrong.

The problem is that we (those who do not speak English) do not know your sayings and there are American English and England English so is there even one right way to speak your language?

One solution could be that those who speak other languages receive their own sub-forum.

I think that it is not too much to ask that I get my own forum. (wtf)

i think majority here are non english

I think that they are almost all American. :dunno:

Now, I ain't no age racist or nothin' like that. Heck, some of my best friends are old people. But I tell ya one thing, I think it's just better that they stay with their own kind. I mean, like, I wouldn't want my sister to marry one (if I had a sister). They ride around playing their Frank Sinatra and Conway Twitty CDs on full blast. And it's not safe for a decent White woman to even walk through a mall anymore. You go out by the fountains and there they are, all gathered up like a pack of wolves just waiting to pounce on some pretty young thang. Some of them have moved into my area in the past 3-4 years and it's been nothing but trouble ever since. Every time I'm running a little late for work, one of them will pull out in front of me in their 1977 Cadillac Deville with the white wall tires, go 20 mph where you can't pass and then speed up to 70 where you can. They do it on purpose, man! And if you have to go to Walmart to pick up a prescription, don't even think about trying to beat one of them to the counter if she's on one of them damn electric scooters. They'll mow you down like nobody's business... and then pretend they didn't see you while you're laying on the floor holding your fractured leg. Hell, just the other day, I heard that a mob of them ganged up on this kid and took his tennis shoes, his cellphone and a pack of gum (sugar free Juicy Fruit - it won't stick to dentures) he had in his pocket! I know you heard about it. It was on Fox News, NewsMax and got re-posted on Storm Front (my go-to places for news these days).

Yeah man, it's just too much. They is takin' over! And they act like we owe 'em something just cause they fought in (real) wars, paid taxes and worked for the past 60 years. Waitin' around for their gubment checks every month. Just makes me sick, man! It really does! But I ain't no age racist. No sir. I get along with everybody - as long as they know their place.

Today's youth are tomorrow's eldery.

1977 Cadillac Deville was and is a good car.

It's incredible that in year 2013 we continue talking about this.

Only cos sum dem der Age Racists think it's still 1953.

Age discrimination is not a big deal.

When you come to middle-age you will see that young people are disgusting. :sheep:

No! Never!

Blasphemy!

I would rather push a Jaguar than drive a Cadillac. And if you have a Jag with Lucas electronics, you will indeed learn to push a car (to get it out of the road).

Well, I've always imagined that Cadillac is technically better and more durable car than Jaguar.

Technically? There was nothing technical about the Cadillac Deville. The only thing less technical were wagons pulled by horses in the late 1800's - and even some of them...

There were no good American cars built in the late 70's........ or in the 80's

This man is older than you, Assari. Listen to his wisdom. He will not steer you wrong. Just don't leave your wife, daughter or girlfriend alone with him.

American car may not be technically the best, but they are storng.

Oldest car that I see in everyday traffic is Chervolet Caprice Classic.

It looks brand new even thoug it is over twenty years old.

Jaguar is even more old fashioned.

I think he knows better American cars than I, but I'm still of the opinion that Cadillac is better car than Toyota.

Not a Cadi built in the 70's or 80's vs a Toyota built at the same time. And I've owned both.

I can not say that you are wrong if that is what you think.

Well, it is embarrassing to hear that cheap rice bag outdo expensive and legendary luxury car.

Jaguar is even more old fashioned.

The '61 Jag E-type had disc brakes and independent rear suspension when most American cars still had drum brakes and were still riding on suspensions made more for horse-drawn buckboards. Jag began fitting disc brakes to their cars in '53 or so. Even the Corvette didn't get disc brakes until 1965. Jaguar's independent rear suspensions were what many street rodders fitted to their projects, in addition to 9 inch Ford rear ends. Most American cars didn't get IRS until late into the 70's and some still don't have that basic suspension feature. Cadillac didn't come out with a 5-link IRS unit until this year. That's sad.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Cadillacs or American cars in general. Cadillac actually makes some very decent cars now. I wouldn't own one, but the CTS is a very good car. But the ones from the 70's (like most American cars of that period) were, generally speaking, ill-handling, land yacht, pieces of shit that were designed by people who had not caught up with the times and put together by people who really didn't know anything about quality and didn't care anything about quality.

Under British Leyland, Jaguar quality was nothing to write home about either. But a Jaguar was a way to show (without a doubt) that you had arrived, while a Cadillac was a way to try to *convince* others that you had arrived... when maybe you hadn't: mobsters, pimps, Miami Beach bound retirees, lottery winners, etc., seemed to be the kind of people who went for Cadillacs. Just my 2 pennies.

I don't like the new Jags though. They (at least the XF and the XJ) look like freakin' Volvos now! The new XK resembles a Mazda Miata on mild steroids. Great cars and I have nothing against Volvos or Mazdas, but they lost the (traditional) Jaguar styling after the 2005 model year.

What was this thread about anyway? Oh yeah, old fuckers who have CRS (Can't Remember Shit).

In most cases people criticize American cars brakes and platform.

The suspension is or was too soft and the brakes were weak.

The actual subjet was this;

Young people's arrogance.
