About ten years ago I went to a well known Latin restaurant and I found a nice sized roach in the Paella. To this day I won't eat Paella...and I never went back to that F'n restaurant.

:pukey:

I will throw the food away, throw the plate away, take a shower and then move to a new house.

you know in some countries, they would love to have food with bugs on it. fuck the food, they'll take the bugs by themselves if they can get em. people who are starving to death aren't too picky eaters.

Usually im scarfing down my food and dont notice whats in it, but if I happen to catch something that dont belong, well plate and unwelcome guest meets floor and shoe. Get serenaded by the sounds of crash, crinkle, and squish and angry yelling, followed by heavy footfalls running.

On the topic, I used to be a somewhat frequent customer of an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet. The food was really good, and the price wasn't that bad, so I went there every once in a while. The last time I went I noticed that there were little dark spots that would randomly run across the walls, the floor, or the buffet bar. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but after a while I realized that it wasn't my imagination, but a full blown cockroach takeover of the restaurant. I had gone with my *** that day, and she called the manager/owner over to the table and pointed out the problem. The manager calmly replied that the restaurant had been bug sprayed the day before, and that every time it got sprayed the roaches ran wild for a few days. He told us not to worry, though, as the roaches would be back to their hiding places in a few days and that if we went back the following week they would all be gone.

I haven't returned since.

I have to agree with some It all depends on what bug if it was a nasty bug I would throw it away.
