To be honest, I would rather have the Sheriff come in and have them take care of it than be the school official who took it in their own hands then they have a problem with the parents and all that nonsense. Which they already do have a problem. It is hard to know what to do with these out of control kids nowadays. Because you never know if the parent is going to make a fuss and take it in this direction.

This girls mother knows good and damn well those steps were necessary. That wasn't the only times this girl was absolutely outta control. I'm sure mom was very aware of her daughters exploits and did little to nothing about it. I hope the girl is traumatized be police enforcement enough to stop acting a fool in class.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering, New Horizons is far from a horrible place. I used to have kids Baker Act themselves so they'd get sent over for a little vacation. The New Horizons staff used to hate me picking the girls up because I'd cuff their hands and legs right in the lobby like the little criminals they were. :thumbsup:

They're making it seem like these big meany cops forcibly cuffed and detained an innocent little girl who was doing nothing wrong. They used reasonable force to restrain the child. Reasonable force does not mean a club to the back of the head or anything like that. But then "anything done" would then end in the kids parent(s) taking legal action against the school no doubt. As parents don't want their kids being handled by anyone other than themselves. Even in cases where the parent is nowhere near to do anything about it. Anyone other than the parent who tries to stop kids from misbehaving, is wrong, that's how parents think. Yet half the time it's the parents to blame for the lack of disipline in their kids which leads to uncontrollable tantrums like this girl performed. I'd speak ill of the girls parents parenting skill, but I've yet to see it. Kids get away with far too much these days at home and especially at school. Due to the schools hands being tied in most situations that occur.
