Yeah its 1
whats so hard about that??
whats so hard about that??
Unbelievable, that's exactly what I was going to say.Change it to (40 + 40) x 0 + 1
Now that equals 1.
:hatsoff:
I always thought 40 + 40 = 80 + 1 = 81.

I LOL'dThat's what you get for blowing away your math teacher.
Yes, because calculations involving the order of operations are a frequent problem when one attempts to reconcile payments in a checkbook.Remind me to never let (most of) you clowns balance my checkbook.

I do.Yes, because calculations involving the order of operations are a frequent problem when one attempts to reconcile payments in a checkbook.
And nobody does that anymore anyway. That's why we have online banking.
You must have had the same math teacher as MC Hammer.I don't care what the mathematicians say.
40 + 40 = 80
80 x 0 = 80
80 + 1 = 81

and thats why the answer is 1Yeah, not sure what's so difficult about this one. ANY number TIMES 0 is automatically 0. Doesn't matter what the other number is....
I hated math, can you tell?
:dunno:
Thanks, but when I was in grade school there weren't such things as calculators. Not using that as an excuse though. I just never liked math after the teacher made me look like an ass in front of the class one day.you dont need to know math, you just need to know how to use a calculator
