Unless he can play shortstop, I don't know what we would do with him! :1orglaugh

All kidding aside, he's a great talent for sure.

Jagger69 i'm sure if you gave Harper enough time he could play short

LOL probably true. I just don't see us taking on another position-switch project. Besides, I don't believe the Nats would be too interested in trading him unless we included the Budweiser brewery and the Gateway Arch. Maybe not even then. Besides, he's better off as an OF.

The Cardinals are kicking ass right now. You're right we have a loaded outfield so we couldn't use him any way. I like John jay and Allen Craig too much, not to mention beltran and Holliday. lol

So glad to see the Red Sox pitching dominate a Twins team that has a .239 batting average. Jeez

What a gem by Shelby Miller last night! He allows a single to the first batter and then sets down the next 27 straight for the complete-game 1-hitter!! Wow....the Cardinals starting pitching has been lights out so far this year and is the primary reason they lead the division. With the bullpen finally starting to come together and the robust hitting that is in that lineup, they look poised to be a real contender once again.

So, not to be totally outdone, Wainwright goes out and tosses a 2-hit shutout today. Holy bejeezus I have not seen a starting rotation get off to a start like this one has in a long, long time. Everybody seems willing to concede that the Reds have the best rotation in the division but I beg to differ. I'm still waiting to see how Cincy measures up when Cueto comes back but that staff will have to go a long way to outdo the Cardinals. I bet the poor Rockies can't wait to leave town....3 hits, no runs in 18 innings!! And the bullpen gets a well-earned rest to boot!

It's time for us Dodger fans to start focusing on 2014

Kudos to ownership's efforts, but there's no way the Dodgers make the playoffs this year.

Twenty five years since our last world series appearance, and counting......

You sound like a Blues hockey fan. Oh wait....it is time for them to actually focus on 2014! :D

Season is early yet, you guys have time to get it together but something needs to change relatively soon that's for sure. Hey it could be worse....you could be an Angels fan! :1orglaugh

Wow. The Cardinals are absolutely on fire. 12-2 in their last 14. They go for the sweep against the Mets today at Busch with Wainwright on the hill so I like their chances.

Almost feel bad for the Blue Jays, everyone they get either ends up injured or sucks once they come to Toronto. And they're stuck in the most difficult division in baseball.
