I think after a while it's just natural to get tired of the same people winning and hogging the media attention, so I can understand why many people will enjoy watching him fail. But Phelps seems quite a likeable guy to me.

I got to totally agree swimmers have grotesque bodies. The weightlifters are just as bad.

I just read that she might've taken steroids. Not that I'm surprised lol

Word. Nothing against Phelps, the guy is a legend and will probably at least tie the all time medals record, but seeing Lochte take him was great.

Also, what the hell happened to Lochte in that 400m relay? Shit the bed!!!

I hope Ye isn't doping. The IOC is hinting at the fact that she did not test positive.

That's the point of the Olympics.
It's not like a World Championship in wich only the best can compete, It's the olympics, a competition in wich even the small countries are granted with a shot at the best.
It's the point of the olympics, in every sport : granting the ultimate underdogs with the honor to match-up with the ultimate champs. Usually they don't go over 1st round and then, the champs can fight each other.

I've been enjoying watching them. Great stories.
Good to see the drama of Phelps The US Woman Gymnast Team and others.

I think it is interesting how these countries field their teams. China has over 4 times the population of the US. US has over 3 times the population of Germany and twice that of Russia. These people really work their heart out and it is great to see them compete.

Not trying to convert anyone, but I'm really enjoying the Archery competitions. I had never really watched before, but after 3 1/2 hours of todays matches, I was very happy I stayed up through the night to watch.
