Djokovic is the only top guy left, his tournament to lose now.

Like he has done every masters final he has played in this year, Djokovic wins Montreal 6-2 3-6 6-4 over Mardy Fish
In doing so, he sets the record for most masters titles won in one year (5) and the record for most consectutive mandatory masters (5). Nadal won Monte Carlo but that is an optional tournament and Djokovic pulled out before it started.
...and like every masters final he has played in, Fish loses in three sets, going to 0-4. He has always had to play the best guy on tour in those matches though, so tough luck but that can happen at the big tournaments.

Next week is another masters in Cincinnati, favourite will be Djokovic again! He is 53-1 at the moment.
Murray hasn't won a hard court match since losing in the final of the Australian Open btw, amazing record in a bad way. Surely he will finally get past that in Cincy.

Djokovic lost!...could see it coming though, he retired (shoulder) against Murray in the Cincy final.
Anti-climax with Novak playing mostly terrible, tons of errors, slow serving: 6-4 3-0
Good timing however as it started raining heavily right afterwards.

US Open in a couple of weeks!

The Djokovic/Murray match was lame.

The only homer likely to do anything at the Open is Fish. Hopefully semis at least - maybe a little Cinderella major if he is really, really lucky. Very improbable though.

I'm still hoping for Murray to win a grandslam some time soon.
Him being a fellow country man

He could have a good chance here, with Fed being old, Nadal out of form, Djokovic maybe a bit hurt...As long as he doesn't lose to someone like Wawrinka again.
Any US people know how/if Hurricane Irene is affecting the Open? I hope not...
Starts in about 8 hours I think.

Golubev was painful against Nadal today. Up 3-2 with a break in the first set and loses 6-3, lost 7 set points in the second, up 5-2 double break in the third and lost 7-5. Can't believe he didn't win at least one set.
Djokovic had an easy match, 6-0 4-1 retired, hardly lost any points while Fed won in straights with some lapses - like being up 5-1 and almost going to 5-5.
All the WTA slam winners this year are gone already...Clijsters pulled out, Li Na and Kvitova both lost first round.

Blake hit this huge return off a first serve on match point, might have been 120+mph. Should be a better version of it up later.

Similar to this older one, no need to go for placement haha

Well Golubev was killing every second ball throughout the match, it's not too surprising that UE's mounted I guess. This is the same guy who lost 17 matches in a row this season. Also Nadal 'forces' unforced errors in a way with his defense.
No question Golubev put on a choke clinic though, could only lol as he blew leads in every set. Serving at 5-3, 40-0, seven set points in the second set and couldn't finish.
Just shows how important the mental side of it is.
Anyway, Nadal is not playing that well. He won't defend his title at this rate.

The USO has some weird scheduling so guys like Murray and Del Potro have to play 7 matches in 12 days if they go that far. I think they play tomorrow.

Lol @ the centre court scores today.
6-1 6-1 Schiavone
6-3 6-2 6-2 Federer
6-0 6-1 Serena
6-2 6-0 Wozniacki
6-0 6-0 6-2 Djokovic

Hope the crowd felt like they got their moneys worth

The best match was at Louis Armstrong, Monfils/Ferrero.
It was Monfils' birthday (25) but JCF won 7-6(5) 5-7 6-7(5) 6-4 6-4
Gael is crazy :D Full stretch dive - was only a couple of inches away from being a winner

Jumping behind the back shot - Why, I dunno

Showing off the K-Swiss Big Shots

Ivanovic got a walkover, Stepanek retired. I think there have been about 13 of those already, really high.

Great win by the babe Sabine today, 0 and 2. She looked really impressive and super hot.

Also well done by Donald Young to knock off Stanislas.

Sabine was GOATing the week before in Dallas as well.
6-3 6-0
6-1 6-2
6-1 6-2
6-0 6-1
6-2 6-1 Final.

Looks like Serena will win the tournament though.

Murray got down 0-2 to Haase but came back to win. Haase is known to be a choker though, the scores from the third set on were 6-2 6-0 4-0 at one point.

It's good to see Sabine playing what appears up to her potential after all the injuries. Her legs are so sexy. :drool2:

Looking forward to Sock v. Roddick tonight.
