Now in my parents household we have my *** who is going for the Swiss, and then my *** who is rooting for South Korea, and yes she mentions from time to time that she has relatives in North Korea as well. I cannot wait until they both get buzzed and start yelling at each other and start yelling at each other in their native langues.

So we lost Bocanegra. Do you guys think it matters, or will someone rise to the occasion? I want the United States to make a statement and do some damage this World Cup. 
When did we lose Boca? He was on the bench during the Aussie game. :dunno:
Our strength is the counter ******. That's how we beat the elite powers. That's the only way we can beat England. They will have the Lion's share of possession, and let them get frustrated with wild shots and bad finishing :yesyes:
We have a lot more speed than people give us credit for. The problem is that our speediest guy is Charlie Davies and he's not playing for us. I don't trust Buddle or Gomez to be real striker threats for us. I hope I'm wrong. :o
I haven't seen Feilhalber playing much for us lately. With him, Dempsey, Bradley and Landycakes in the midfield, we can do some damage.
I hope we don't see Landycakes as the main forward option for us. He's a much better winger.
I think we will finish second in our group and I like our chances in the next round against someone like Germany especially if they are injured as they appear to be.

Absolutely. Although it's 9AM where I'm at in the Midwest (USA, of course). Some ESPN analysts were picking Serbia as a dark *****. Also the Netherlands and Mexico.
