Same have only been to a few stadiums. One being Shea which was really nice. Another being The Ball Park in Arlington which sucked. From out seats which were down the first base line but set back a little bit you couldnt see the scored board. The only nice part about it was we didnt get wet when it started to rain because of the level above us overhang. The two nicest stadiums I have been to are Turner Field and Minute Maid Park. Minute Maid Park was absoulely amazing. I would say its a must see ballpark.

On another note, what the hell is up with the Dodger game. Delayed in the freakin bottom of the ninth. My boy Matt Kemp was at the plate with a full count.

nothing....
....not rain nor sleet nor snow....
....nothing can prevent Andruw Jones from striking out.

Was watching the Yankee game yesterday. They pounded the Mariners 13-2. I got to thinking about Richie Sexson. I've always been a big fan of his since he came up with the Tribe in the late 90s, and right about the time I met Becks, he was traded to her beloved Brewers. He was a force to be reckoned with for a few years there. Hit 45 homeruns each of two consecutive seasons with the Brewers. But now he's got what seems to be a huge hole in his swing and a lazy bat. He is just struggling. More strikeouts than games played. It seems he can still pound mediocre fastballs and the occasional hanging curve. And when he does, he hits it a ton, but I was wondering, in addition to getting older, if his lack of recent success has to do with his lanky frame. At 6'8" he is the tallest position player in the history of baseball. It has to be hard to catch up with good fastballs when you're that size. He also did have shoulder surgery and missed the whole 2004 season. Is Sexson doomed to failure by genetics or circumstance or can he turn it around? Anyone have an opinion?

LOL Magnet.
Yeah, poor to the tune of $18 million.
$18 million for a frikkin human air conditioner.

Chin up, Richie. That stat is bound to attract Ned Colletti's interest

Maybe it could play apart of it, but I think it's more age. McGwire seemed pretty tall (I don't remember his hight and I don't think he was 6'8") but he could always come around on the good fastballs up until the end. :dunno:

Facetious

Moderated
Zito - Still looking for his FIRST victory of the year.

I was going to say -
$$$$ Poor $$ Guy $$$$ :dunno:

Ahh, they have to love him down in tri - a . . or 2 a . . . . ."a" ball :o

Well PNC park was great. I like it better then my normal stomping ground "The Great American Ball Park". Sucks that pirates lost but shit lol Cubs had 19 hits and Zambrano was 4-5 lol. Next stop to Progressive field to catch the Indians vs somebody.

My opinion is: The Mariners RUIN players. Sometimes. Blah.

He's a nice guy, though. Always good for an autograph.

i think the rays are very underrated and once kazmir gets back and if he stays healthy
they can make a legit run for the playoffs

BJ Upton is a stud

Hey, a month after your post, the Rays are on top of the AL East and the Yankees are in the cellar. The Rays are looking good and serious at this point in the season.

i like the rays collection of talent, they will be a contender all year.the yankees are just old, same problem in detroit.the mets don't need to fire randolph, they need to fire some players starting with reyes and beltran.Zito finally got a win but with the giants as bad as they are he could threaten 20 losses if he pitches the reast of the year

the air conditiner broke!

It was just a matter of physiology.
You can't swing and miss that many times without tearing something!

Now, as to his replacement......maybe they can lure Kurt Bevacqua out of retirement?

Did you also notice they're about to eat the near 8 million salary of Esteban Louiza? There's a real shocker, eh? Like none of us could have seen that one coming when they signed him

Tim Lincecum. Watch him pitch, the kid is insanely good. Bit biased, but so what, you watch him throw and you gonna enjoy it.
