In a sick and twisted way I'm almost happy they won the World Series when they did despite themselves and with a lot of luck that year. Ozzie sucks as a manager and I hope that win gets him a decade or two more leeway before he is fired because of his suckitude.

The Yankees will be going home early this year
Everytime they look like they are starting to come out of this shit hole they are in, they slide right back down. Nothing is working for them this year. Now I know IAF said they would make the playoffs, but I don't see it, they aren't playing with any heart, any confidence. My only solace will be watching the Red Sox crash and burn as they always do. :thumbsup:

Yep, hats off to Frank, a future hall of famer. I always thought The Big Hurt was an awesome nickname.
You still have hope. They are a pretty competent team, even if they are under-performing and in the greater scheme of things having better players helps you win more than confidence does. All the need is an extended winning period and that will come back also.
