its Pistons v Celtics, after that its the best Eastern Conference Finals all time ;). The winner takes the championship unless they meet spurs

I can't see either the Pistons or Celtics beating the Spurs, Mavericks or Rockets....maybe even Phoenix, Denver or the Clippers. The Western Conference is so far ahead of the East right now as to be almost laughable. It will get better, but not this year.

Denver? I love 'em but I think it'll take a while for them to get accustomed to winning. Same with Boston. Clippers? C'mon man, I know Maggette's gonna average in the 25s this season with Brand out, but they generally SUCK in my opinion. The Lakers are still the headline out of Los Angeles, that'll be something to watch.

Yeah well maybe Denver and the Clippers are a bit of a stretch, but you get my point. The Lakers? Kobe and who else? Same ol' shit in Lakerland from what I see. Watch out for Houston this year.

the west is ridiculously superior to the east but that doesn't win championships. In the finals it's only about the 2 teams... you have to remember the last 4 champions have been split from the east and west

Pistons
Heat
Spurs x2

Don't cancel out the eastern conf champion just because they had it easier and represent a weak conference.

I see everybodys on the rockets too, and i'd hope they make it but McGrady is so fuckin injury prone it's not funny. Yoa Ming still can't play defense and you can only pray that Steve Francis doesn't come to Houston just to ballhogg and get his 20+ pts a night. :(

The only way for the NBA to interesting is if the Celtics matter. I might tune in a little to see the Celtics. I think Ray Allen is too ancient to do anything. I smell free-agent bust.

I will marginally root for the Suns in the West. They play a greatly watchable game. They're probably the only NBA team I'd pay to see play. Oh and the Phoenix Gorilla OWNS!

I think LeBron and the Cavs are due for a letdown season...

no love for Utah? I'm a Laker fan but I can see Utah being one of the elite teams in the West for the next ten years. Williams is the real deal. He is a complete PG and has great leadership skills. Boozer is very underrated, Okur is a fine compliment to Boozer's game. Kirilenko also should bounce back. I like Utah's chances a lot. It'll be either Utah vs. Jersey or Utah vs. Chicago.

Six managers so far. That was the initial target. Can I schedule the autopick draft on Friday/Saturday? A week before games start can give managers enough time to tinker with their lineups and adjust rosters ahead of time.

I like Utah alot, but Im not really sure about them this year. The Spurs pretty much had their way with them last season and I really dont see any reason to think that wouldnt be the case again (Houston and GS were VERY good matchups for them).

I just think they need more time and more pieces. I used to like Kirilenko alot, but he's proving that he'd rather be the man on a bad team than an important roleplayer on, what could be, a very good one. If he shapes up, they can do some real damage, though.

If he play like in European championship last month(he was MVP) he could be most important Jazz player this season!

Doesn't AK47 want out of Utah? I thought he was threatening not to show and to play in Russia this season.

I agree they could be a tough team....but I won't root for them.

who's biggest perverts & suns fans :dunno:

i like the Cavs coming out of the East again. I think that they have to get somebody a little more consistent to help out King James though. The man can't do everything every night.

The cavs have not re-signed Pavlovic or Varejo. They look much worse than last year. Look for them to be early first round exits.

I am Biggest Perverts, I would like to suggest some changes to the league...like the waiver period and the vote veto on trades, not commish veto.
