Interesting post. This one caught my eye:

English philosopher Francis Bacon, a founder of the scientific method, died in 1626 of pneumonia after stuffing a chicken with snow to see if cold would preserve it.

I thought maybe I should start a thread, "Would you eat a raw chicken stuffed with snow? What if it was served with a side of Francis Bacon?

Nice read dave.

18 Eighty percent of people in the United States die in a hospital.

That's similar to saying somebody died of natural causes. If something happens to your body that's going to kill it you naturally are going die. :1orglaugh

I think everything except suicide, industrial poisoning and radiation can be listed as natural causes. Doncha think?

unless you want to get technical and relate suicide to a imbalance in emotion glans and poison and radiation to the white blood cells being weak. Then, they're also natural

No American has died of old age since 1951

No person in the history of the world has ever died of old age. If you look, you will always find a reason other than "old age" as the cause of death.
