My heart goes out to ya, Ashleigh. Itr truely does. NO bullshit at all. That is a fucking attrocious bill and one of the worse ones I've ever seen. :(

As for myself I don't even own a cellphone, oddly enough, which surprises MANY. meh I just use groundlines and everyone once in a while I'll ask one of my family relatives to dial a number on they're cellphones, as the monthly unlimted minutes bills as well as the pressure of trying not to lose those teeny-tiny fuckers as well as the many myths of the (supposed) brain tumor damage will pretty much scare me off from life from ever truely owning one, I can tell ya that right now. If I was a much richer man I would gladly help you with that bill, but sadly such is life & long distances. :(

Thanks babe. I wouldn't let ya help out with it because its my shit to deal with unfortunately...going to have to call the cell company and work out some sort of payment plan, because I sure as hell don't have $750 lol.

I enjoy reading the banned forums on the xbox website, it tickles me reading all the bullshit stories and excuses people come up with to justify whatever got them banned. A few I've read have been from people who think stating a rank and supposed wounds from service in Iraq etc is enough to get them off the hook.

Im curious, had this happened to someone who was in civillian life, through whatever innocent mistake, would it still have drawn the outrage and outcry and whoa is me attitudes that this person has recieved?

Why should the fact of someone being in the army, sob story and all with his new born be a pass to get out of whatever financial fuck up he got himself into?

British soldiers featured in the news not long ago because they were dreadfully under equipped, did anyone care? Not really.

A soldier gets a huge phone bill - Call in the lawyers! Disgrace, Disgrace! Our soldiers blah blah fucking blah.

*lol* Nah, and I only planned to if I suddenly won my state's PowerBall Lottery my dear (please forgive me;)), but I hope your overly happy thought I thhought about ya, heh heh. your such a sweet heart and maybe relatives will be overly kind this holiday season and will help you out as I feel you can always pay'em back at a later date and for any one person who is very rich or financially well off, that is a pretty steep bill for ANYONE to bill at one sitting. It's very fucked up of them to stiff ya with that, truely.

Anyway take care sweetie! I'm sure this'll blow over. : )

If she didnt have OCSM under her name would you still be offering to pay her bills for her?

Its a cell phone bill, save the knight in shining armour routine.

It was a half heart joke my dear man. :) NO need to take it too seriously. I was only joking that IF I had one my state's Powerball Lottery here in the U.S. would I offer to quickly pay it. I'm sure she also didn't expect me to leave my current aprtment in the southern U.S. to come all the way to even more freezing (no offense at all menat now, Ash) ice-cold Nova Scotia in her current city of Halifax to meet up with her arkwardly even though we've never Skype'd even and to chill, hand out and to pay her bills for her. And I didn't even know i put on a "knight-in-shining-armor" routine. LMAO

Up until then here is a delightfully well made albiet cheesy '80s power ballard that this Knight in Shinving armor has to dedicate to his dearest Ash LMAO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAj-Y6uUA_k

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I covered my ass and called my cell provider and paid the fee's required to give me super cheap international calling, and unlimited texting/websurfing. My long distance charges were $20. My internet usb usage for my laptop (on the same account) was $250, and I was told when I bought the damn thing that I could use it anywhere in the world, without being charged...all I'd be charged for was my monthly rate. And THEN, I wasn't told that if I even had my phone turned ON, while on a Carnival cruise, I get charged $7 a MINUTE. So now I'm stuck with a $750 + cell bill, even though I tried to do everything right. Fucking cell companies, fucking Carnival...GRRRR.

I'm a little foggy on how they got you. Was it something to do with some sort of cell tower on the ship? I mean, do they gig passengers who use cell phones on their ships somehow, like a surcharge they collect from everybody's cell provider?

Several years ago, I had a cell plan that gave me several hundred free minutes a month, plus free nights & weekends. I never had a problem when I used it in Virginia or Maryland. But one weekend I spent Sat. and Sunday in D.C. with my girlfriend, and we used the phone a lot. I didn't go over my free minute allotment, plus it was a weekend anyway! But D.C. had a special tax that applied to every call made within the District. And they burned me good. So I just wondered if Carnival had a similar Sneaky Pete method of screwing over passengers?

GMAIL people.

Free calls anywhere in Canada and the US to any pĥone for all of 2011 through the mail interface. With that and Skype (new app for the iPhone!) I've cut my bills - land and cell - by 80% in 6 months.

I have NO landline at all now. My total cell phone bill - including data split for a rocket stick for the laptop and with roaming (or prepaid 3G card thingy) - $100 a month give or take.

Fuck Ma Bell. She obsolete.

If there is one thing I have learned from listening to people and reading other messagebords on the subject is that if a communications company says something is "unlimited" it's more often than not a lie, especially if it involves data.

Ignore that Dead On Arrival guy. He's got a permanent corncob stuck up his ass.

Corn cob eh?

My point stands. If she were any other random female member, would anyone be offering to pay her bills? No.

But the words OCSM? Oh yea, people are tripping over their grandmothers to be all helpful and nice and think it will get them some sort of meaningful appreciation.

Try helping a stranger once in a while, not someone who happens to be professional fucking model.

Bree Olson[/URL][/B], post: 5250999, member: 370964"]I racked up about 800 dollars in a few days in Montreal last month...that was pretty foolish of me.

I feel bad for this guy. Looks like AT&T took care of it, though.

that was nice .

I've never paid more than $25/month for cell service. I generally only use mine for texting a friend in Texas and when I go out and need to get ahold of someone later. I have enough debt without being a cell phone addict, too.

With Eva and her phone bills of last year... at the VNA, we were dying of laughter over it. How could she be so stupid?
