I am currently reading a book of short stories by O. Henry aka Saki and another book of short stories "Soft and Others" by F. Paul Wilson Short stories are my guilty pleasure. I just love those with a twist ending!

I personally prefer Quiet Riot's version. When I hear the Slade version it just doesn't sound "right" to me. Probably because I've heard QR so many times! :rolleyes:

I agreed with the original post about these "bribes" that are handed out in many elections, not just the Iowa Caucuses. Whatever the purpose of this thread, I do agree that election practices have become increasingly shady. But then again, that is nothing new.

Not my type of music at all. But I have at times enjoyed the music of James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin. It tells you something about them that they are able to please someone who doesn't even like the genre. :dunno:

Very nice!! Gianna, Eva, Carmella, Lanny and Eve are favorites of mine and I certainly contributed to their cause! Although generally I usually prefer natural women and I agree with the sentiments of others that this is not a very natural list.
