Great summation, Torre. This move by the CEO sounds a lot like a ********* of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Victoria's Secret has become part of our consciousness as a premier seller of sexy and feminine lingerie. Their hallmarks are sexiness and high quality. That's what women and men...
Thanks for the advice, and just so everyone knows, my plan went off without a hitch. I hit the toilet on my first try and the mighty flush handled the "load"!
I had a dog most of my adult life, but she ****** away a few years ago. Becks and I had a cat, but we had to give him up because our landlord said we couldn't keep pets. He lives with an elderly neighbor lady now.
So currently I have no pets. :(
If she wanted to do that, I would go ahead and let her as long as it was just stripping. I can't control what she does. I would advise against it though.
I bought five at the same time:
Sling Blade
Fever Pitch
Shaun of the Dead
Dead Poets Society
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
I haven't seen any before except the "Fast Times" and Becks hasn't seen any of them except "Dead Poets". Still looking for when we have the time to watch! We have dozens...
I think someone must have been up to no good if they found a vial of ricin in the room. Either the guy was up to something or someone was trying to poison him, or he was trying to commit suicide. People do not just carry this stuff around.
I ***** both, but except on rare occasions, I always ***** both in the "iced" forms. I really don't care for hot beverages. Overall, I would have to say I prefer tea.
Congratulations to Facetious, who I have bumped over 600 green stones! :hatsoff:
Also congratulations to minidog, who I just bumped over 200 rep.
Great article. Was fascinated by this part:
I never knew about any of that above stuff! I just thought it was every four years and that's it. I love when I learn something new!
Very interesting read. I am a little bit concerned as to where any valuables found will be going.
From the article:
It is good to hear the Amber Room may go back to Russia, but what about all the gold and silver that might be found? Should Germany keep it? Should they track down Holocaust...
I actually have AOL dialup still. We can't get DSL in our area. And we don't really want to get cable because of the extra expense and because we probably are moving soon. So AOL is good enough for us at least for now.
Re: What are your Biggest Pet Peeves?
I agree with what you're saying about the phrasing. I certainly could have said what I did a little nicer. :) I know you didn't mean any harm.
Re: What are your Biggest Pet Peeves?
I remember the "Annoyances" thread Torre had started that covered this exact same subject. However that got moved to the Games section, and this one is allowed to stay here.
That's my pet peeve.
