Thanks. I still think these crimes are horrendous; but it seems to me that there's too much room for error in determining guilt or innocence. When the stakes are this high, you don't gamble with a man's life. There's been too many cases of DNA exonerating people (way after the fact)..one of which is from my home state, Kirk Bloodsworth. Now; can we get rid of the bullshit about it being cheaper to kill a man than life imprisonment? The mis-information out there is astounding...

I'm not sure who's sweet behindus that is on my profile page. As I recall, I did a Google image search for "big asses" and set the size parameters because at the time I didn't know how to resize images lol. I've had a lot of people ask, but apparently tineye and similar image ID programs on the web can't identify just an ass. Technology is disappointing sometimes haha!

Thx for the rep, Jag. It is really hard for me to see the DOW (along with several other arbitrary "indicators") as a useful tool in telling me how "we're" doing on a personal level when the information is based on the health of large corporations and the tendencies of big-time investors. Just seems irrelevant to me.

I agree with your thinking on the Constitution. The wording seems direct. However, when I think that justices should just interpret the meaning of the law and not try to legislate, they don't often listen to me.

I believe the law needs to change. To try and do an end run around the law diminishes. If we want to change the Constitution, it should be changed, not manipulated.

Thanks for the rep. I agree with the interpretation. Making changes to the Constitution would be quite the challenge in today's climate. (It always is)
I have heard news reports that some of the conservative justices are open to allowing restrictions.

Interesting. Part of the American problem.
