Unpleasant reasons for me too so I hope that you have a better 2014! I'm sure hoping for that. I dunno about taking over the Bowl Challenge....I always admired your ability to detail that thing out every year. I'm really just not geared that way. I'd probably fuck it up. Maybe you could post a thread asking if anyone wants to volunteer to oversee it this season. If not, maybe we just let it go this time. I don't know if you have been on the thread lately but there are only a few regular posters left....just like the rest of the board. Things have really gone downhill in general at FOs in my opinion. Anyway, lemme know what you think and I hope things go well for you my friend!

Hey Jagger. Thanks for getting in touch, my friend. I too have been inactive here for most of the year for a number of reasons, all unpleasant. It's interesting you mentioned the Bowl Challenge as I was considering posting about that on the main thread; I love hosting it but I'm going to be away from home caretaking an ailing family member during bowl season this year, so I probably won't have the time or energy to do so this year :-( Was going to see if anyone else felt up to being the host so we could keep the tradition alive. I suppose I could set it up, but I wouldn't be around to do the regular standings updates as the games progress. What do you think? Maybe we're the only two who would miss it :dunno: :1orglaugh
And yes you did co-win it last year in a three way tie with me and smoknn I hope you and yours are well, Jagger.

I'm too old (I'm only 49, but I get a kick out of calling myself a grouchy old man - my kids do too) to cover up mistakes. I've made so many I'd spend my days just trying to keep track of them.

That is quite all right, Jag...I've not been on because I have been running - a lot. Training for my first marathon, in October, and frankly it is taking a whole lot out of me, as well as a bit of time.
